illness--structure in one`s energy field/aura?

Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put it, but something pretty interesting happened yesterday. I went in to meditation, relaxed completely and quieted my mind... I had had migraine for maybe a week, so during the meditation at some point I suddenly perceived my headache (in the forehead and temples) like a hot cloud of air around these regions and then it slowly dissipated. The migraine practically disappeared.  :)

I have read that illness can be seen in one`s aura/energy field, but this is first time when i felt it myself. I'm still not sure how to explain it, but the sensation of hot air surrounding my head and then leaving was totally real.

Any ideas? I did not even have an intention to try and heal the headache, it just happened automatically. I think it is also of importance that I had a good day yesterday with lots of positive impressions, which maybe did something to my overall energetical condition.

Any comments appreciated!

Congrats, but I suggest trying not to overthink this. You needed something done and you did it, nothing more. May I ask your history with migranes and headaches?

Yes, sure. I think it is genetic, because my mom suffers a lot too.

I can get headache for a week or even longer. Last fall I had sinus headache, probably it lasted for a month

It went away after I started meditating, I could actually feel my chakras activating. It also felt like very hot air concentrated in the region of the particular chakra, of sometimes like heavy pressure.

I think that illness is connected with our mental state/our thoughts and actions. I was a little depressed last week, concentrating on myself all the time, and the headache came back.  :(

Well, I'm not sure how to think about this then. Biologically you could be just having excess bloodflow to your facial area and by focusing on it you push it away. Blood tends to be warm, so this could explain the warm cloud sensation too.

To further see results, I suggest running as hard as you can till your head hurts very badly as if it's throbbing (erm well try not to pass out though, that could be bad). Each time you do this, you help push migranes further away. I used to have very bad migranes after swimming, but because I was physically active my whole life they went away the more I excercised. It's just a suggestion anyways.

Ybom,

I may try the running thing, I was planning to start doing something physical anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Well, the heat I felt was very intense. And the cloud thing was outside of my body--I perceived it like that. Not at all like flushed skin may feel... I was also in a pretty deep trance state at that time.

That's cool, glad I could help! I wish I understood better what's going on with your head, but I keep invisioning the normal flushing. Hmm, only other thing I can think of is an overactive crown chakra.

Let me know how the run went.

Ybom,

U know, I had a killer headache yesterday and I went for a jog for the first time... I had no headache afterwards. Thank you very much!  :):):)

I should've gotten back to you sooner but I have problems too that I must fix. I'm glad you found one solution for your headache, now you just gotta keep them off for good. Good luck!
