The more you fight with life, the more it will fight back...
In other words, when you resist life you are telling it 'No!'
By telling it 'no' you are denying life, and therefore can not truly live. You have attached yourself to a certain outcome, a certain way of living.  Even though it may now be robotic in its nature, to you it seems safe because you have held the reins for so long you become afraid of letting go of the horse.

Let go of the reins!

Letting go of life and living in the flow is the first step to trusting yourself, and stepping out of the false sense of security that nature shares nothing with.

Resisting life and life's lessons in general is what leads you to "chaos". Living life and allowing the lessons and learning from them leads to "bliss"!  :-)

is this going to be another 'love bad things' thread?

Nah,
It reads as be respectful to nature or you'll be slapped in the face. Carry on and you'll cease to be.
It all depends on YOU. Diversity is the name of the game. Look at Darwin's works for this...
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

No amount of threats will ever make me jump off of a cliff, even if everyone else is doing it. No twisted view of life will lead me to chaos either.

No-one believed many of the concepts presented by genius' and savants, yet they carried on anyways, thinking outside the box to the beyond. Evolution occurs in this way.

Life has many paths to take, and sometimes, as they saying goes, sometimes the best path is the one less travelled.

You're assuming here that there is a "correct" way and an "incorrect" way to live your life.

While some of us here believe there is a "spiritual" way and "non spiritual" way to live your life... it's not really comparable to "correct" and "incorrect".

You live your life the way you live your life.  It is what it is... just live it in the best manner which you know how and you'll be fine.  You can't "resist" life.

Think your missing the point maybe xanth. Innersky (good name) is pointing out there is a way to live life that you will be less likely to suffer. You can resist life..but you will suffer...Inersky was poining out a buddhist truth also pointed out in Ekahrte Tolle, Jesus.... and by countless other awakened teachers. Be at one with life, you are life, except, surrender to the now and what is, resisting is futile and will lead to suffering. There is no way correct or incorrect way to live, but there is ways to live more consciously.
