The Earth Energy System and becoming part of larger life forms

I read somewhere, in Robert Monroe's andOr Carlos Castaneda's books, that out there are places you can easily become part of but its hard to leave.

One of those places is a network of tunnels with things flowing through it, and nearly anyone or anything can become part of the walls of the tunnels which flow energy to you, and in exchange, you do basic life processes of the tunnel and communicate with others who come through. You may be able to leave at least in a limited form, but you would always be tied to that part of the tunnel wall maybe in a high dimensional way so you can be many places at once.

For a long time I just ignored that writing, as there are many other interesting things in those books, but now that I think of it, the "Earth Life System" as our tiny corner of the universe is sometimes called, appears to be a place we get energy in exchange for being part of the system. We get sunlight which heats the dirt and grows the plants and our skin, and there are metaphysical sources of energy around here too that are in surplus in this area so anyone can get some for almost no effort. But in exchange, or you could say what we sacrifice due to the laws of physics to be here, we become attached to this world and get pulled back here from astral to the body from a small itch or any little thing. Its like we cant get out permanently, often said because we dont really want to give up everything about this world, that we dont really want to leave at the deepest level, and maybe most of us dont since theres all this metaphysical and solar and other kinds of energy we get just by hanging around. Maybe we would have a much harder time getting what we need out there, so even though the door is always open, we're not advanced enough to stay out there for long times. Maybe the "Earth Life System" is like those tunnels that you become part of and then become dependent on.

I dont want to be dependent on anything except temporarily by choice, and I find it disturbing that it could have slipped my mind for so long what we're in and why its so hard to leave.

I dont want to leave just yet. I have a few world changing things to do related to http://www.reddit.com/r/turingchurch/comments/2iioic/a_scientific_approach_to_take_harmonic "A scientific approach to take Harmonic Convergence events to the next level" and networking minds together on a global scale. Its something I've been planning for years toward a multiverse infrastructure that will let us access the unified field from many angles at once and across large distances, in a metaphysical context but really thats just the parts of physics not yet understood. Its tools I need and many others would likely want to use. Its how we could work our way out of this trap.

The only trap is to think that you are in one.
The thing is, people sometimes think that by being in a place for a long time you become part of that place.
But you can always put a step out and go outside.
Feeling at home until it feels uncomfortable happens, because you feel like you are a part of that place. Go walk outside, breath some fresh air. Remind yourself that you are free.
You may feel that you are trapped with some people sometimes but, same thing you only have to take a step and go somewhere else.
Maybe trapped in a reincarnation cycle, but then again you are not trapped because there's always a solution.
It's only a feeling.

If you would end up in the real paradise and all your friends would be there, everything you ever wanted and you would never get bored then would you feel trapped?
Where everything is perfect, everyone understands you and everything...

We're just not at that stage yet.
Also, if you are talking like stuck in your body... it's normal too.
When you dream and Astral project you understand that Breathing in the astral is just the action of taking the energy around you.
In the physical world we call it oxygen and give it scientific values, biological values too, a necessity for our body.
While in the astral, we don't breath we use the energy around us. While it still do feel like we're breathing it's only to make us comfortable to what we've been used to in the physical realm.
Your body can feel stuck because of that too, the feeling that you can't go there because it would feel like you are suffocating.
Being trapped is only yourself feeling uncomfortable because you can't face your fears yet.
Or you have yet to understand what you are afraid of.

Edit: I forgot to mention that yes it can be very hard to leave a place if you like it.
You can get used to something, there's no problem with that. It can be hard to leave a place/something/someone behind,
but you can always do it. It might be hard to do but it's never impossible.
The partial becomes complete; the crooked, straight; the empty,
full; the worn out, new. He whose (desires) are few gets them; he
whose (desires) are many goes astray.

I'm going to put my own spin on this. I take a similar angle as Edgar Cayce and it would be worth your while to study him. Almost all new age thought along these lines is influenced by his work. The problem I see is that we are dependent. We cannot escape the trap on our own. We have to have help doing it. Otherwise your likely to spin your wheels in the mud. Now in struggling looking for an answer you might find the help. Ultimately the help comes from God. But I'm not talking about a religion here. I just have that association because of my culture beliefs and upbringing. There is a Christian saying Perfect Love casts out fear. God is love and that is what is needed to rid yourself of that fear that keeps you bound.

The good news is you'll eventually figure that out for yourself if you keep working at it. Someone will come along and give you enough of a boost to see this and find out how really nice it is to get out of that muck.
