I believe Demons are Energies that exist all around us, and only exist because of the people who allow them to exist.
I believe that Demons float around and try to affect anyone who will take a hold of the thoughts they project. i.e negative things from hurting one's self, to teaching someone to manipulate people to have control over their thoughts and free will (dictatorship for example).
I believe that religion is here to help guide people away from the negative thoughts produced by the Demons, and that is why
I also believe the Demons are as powerful as they are now because of satanic rituals that create these energies.
The energies have been around forever, but only recently have gotten out of control. Take a look at society, and tell me it is not mostly corrupt.
I believe these energies live on Focus 2, and affect the subconscious.
Being aware of these energies, allows you to not let them affect you, or even not letting them exist.

Honestly, you don't need to believe or disbelieve...
Just have experiences. If you happen across a "being" of some kind, just note how it acts/reacts towards you and how it treats you... just because something treats you, seemingly, poorly... doesn't mean it's a "demon".
A "demon" is a label we give something that feels "evil" to us... hell, "evil" is just a label as well. Just see your experiences for what they are, experiences! I wouldn't worry about judging or categorizing them yet. :)

xD The reason I created this thread was because I was reading some posts from Summerland_ and I wanted to post my views on the subject ;P
I would like to add, more powerful "demons" could even come off as a good being, in the hopes to trick you. They are spawns of Satan himself ;p their for are also all knowing. I'd also assume you would not meet the being called Satan because he resides in focus 1, and has a large group of people under his control so he doesn't need to head back into focus 2.
Also, Has anyone met an "alien" in all of their astral travels? And if so, how did they present themselves?
There's a limitless amount of different species, they come across how every they come. I've met some that seem like you and i, and some that are beyond belief.

Aliens are Demons ;P or "Devils", which ever way to choose to view it.
I feel that "aliens" are going to come and claim to have created us, and put us on this earth. It is the only way that Satan could possibly get a world wide movement in religion through one person (the Anti-Christ). Also if you look at all past cultures, they all worshiped these "Aliens" as if they where Gods. This leads me to believe that Satan has been setting it up
so that when the times comes he will have (almost) everyone on this earth on his side.

I do not have a classical sense of the word, Demon comes as close to it as possible.
Back in the earlier days (like 20 years ago) when I started projecting, I had a difficult time getting over the "Freddy Kruger" element and projecting. It was difficult and scary at times, but when I did confront my fear head on, I was able to over-come.
A lot of what we think, feel, and fear easily materializes in the astral worlds - which we run in circles chasing our tails and never advance beyond that. It limits us from moving forward - I know for me personally, I had to take small steps in what I was learning in the beginning being cautious. But as I kept slowly moving forward, inch by inch I realized all the dramatization was brought on by my mind and external physical influences I thought would happen, but never did on the other side.
When projecting - it is a whole new world to get use too. Take your time learning the environment, surroundings, and interactions with others. Play it safe in a environment you are comfortable with vs. trying to go out guns blazing.
To give you insight to some of the horrific experiences I have had a long the way:
Pinned between two cars being burned to death with fire
Being shot by a gang attack
Knifed in the shoulder and man/woman holding me down
Stick Figured Picker Bush Entity clinging to me and feeling its thorns slice into my skin
Flying out in space at the speed of thought - can't finding my way back home. It was very scary.
Waking from a trance, starring out the window realizing I am out of body and being thrusted into
hardcore vibrations and intense pain
But even after those experiences happened, I am still here writing about it. They do happen and yes
it is scary. But in retrospect to all the successful and beautiful experiences. They are completely outnumber
the bad. Sure those experiences are a mental scar but I have always returned back to the body. If I gave up
because of a bad experience, I would have missed experiences of beauty.
Before you do project - focus on positive before, during, and after the experience. Remember, you will always return no matter what sticky situation you are in. Don't allow yourself to get sucked down into negative entities, bad OBE experiences...
