yesterday while i was waiting for my train, i decided to meditate. i was focusing on my breathing and relaxing and then all of a sudden i heard people walking by in front of me and i could see them through my eyelids. it wasnt clear like day light or anything it was like a black shadow outline of their bodies, but it wasnt like when something passes in front of your eye and everything goes black i could actually see their leg as they stepped so it was pretty detailed. i was surprised to say the least so i decided to test it and put my hand in front of my face and i could see my fingers, like shadows. but then i thought maybe my eyes are jut a bit open and light is going in and thats why i see this, not cause im seeing through my eyelids. but it had never happened to me before, so it was pretty cool either way. any comments on wheter this was it or not?
this sounds like a case of astral sight to me, but would someone who is more experenced tell me if i am wright
I don't know if I am more experienced but I have one experience with astral sight (so far)...I was laying in my bed meditating...focused on dumping white light onto and into my 3rd chakra when the blackness of behind my eyelids became lighter and i could see my room...it felt as if my eyes were closed but everything was in complete detail as if my eyes were wide open...I though it could be that my eyes slid open and that I didn't notice it since this happens a lot when meditating but they felt closed. To test I tried to open my eyes for real and to my great astonishment I saw my eyelashes rise from the bottom of my vision to the top. It amazed me so much that I had been seeing through closed eyes that I jumped out of bed and ran to my friends room and told him what I had just experience.
Anyways in my experience everything became lighter until I saw the room in complete focus and detail
thanks mhat, i guess maybe it was just my eyes being slightly open then..
i dont know dont just brush it of as that you might vary well have experenced astral sight because even if you dont have alot of exxperence you still might just have natural ability. keep the posts comeing man...
ya! if you think you saw through your eyelids then you probably did! let yourself be the judge of what happened...after it happened to me I was (like I said) so excited and I wrote it down...I highly recommend writing it down or documenting it in some form because later I began doubting myself
"Did I really see through my eyes, or could I have just been mistaken?"
Then I go back and read what I wrote at the time when I was so sure it had happened and I know it is true.
that writing it down part works realy whell so try it..... i wish sometimes i would have wrote down my experences because i now forget alot of them...
i usually write down my lucid dreams and i wrote this eyelid experience down here so this place is kinda like my diary. ill just copy it and save it on my laptop.
Thats a good idea but your laptop can crash so watch out....:)
