Did you feel like you were doing something that wasn't approved by people? if so then it could be your subconciouses way of telling you that? i dunno, lol [:)]

Aileron

if you experienced this your first time meditating I would question it, because it is not often, if ever, people reach an actual meditative state for some time.
It is something strived for, practiced and learned.

If you truly did experience this then do not fear any negative feelings you recieve, they are there to teach you, not to possess or hurt you.
You must look into details at times. The place you saw yourself in, how do you relate it to your own living standards, your desires, your current place of living, your families past and so on.
The hindu man might have not had a dissaproving look, perhaps you just read into it wrong.
Maybe it was attempt to reveal to you that you are not ready for something yet, or that you are being too conscious of mistakes you are making or jumping into things too fast.

Basically, just as in life, when in meditation, when things are revealed, read them as though a book. Not in a good or bad way, but a way to learn from what is there.
Do not let it hinder you from trying again though.

In meditation there is no good and evil.
there is yin and yang, this and that, he and her.

St. Augustine - "Don't you believe that there is in man a deep so profound as to be hidden even to him in whom it is?"

Thank you Aileron for your thoughtful comment, yes it is weird that I experienced that since I was not practicing, but I was very relaxed and concentrated on my breathing that suddenly I was some place else. what I saw I can not explain, but that Hindu man could be someone that thought I was not ready for what I was doing, I was scared at that time and I had hard times as well, it is good to know that there is nothing to be scared of.., My dreams are prophetic and I know there is lot for me to learn, but I suppose in time it will come.. Fear is the biggest barrier that I have and I hope to overcome that
thank you again for looking in to this matter

Hi there

I am not new to this forum, but I never posted here before. So here is what I have expereanced
Few years back I was very interested in my spiritual development, and I am still today, I have tried meditation for the first time and somehow I concetrated on my breathing deeply, next thing I know I was in the universe,or what else could it be, it was dark and stars were around me, it seemed like I am part of it,like I am star among stars, it was so piecful and had that buzzing sound and nothing else..next thing I know is I see my self on horse with a man leaving the castle, it looked like England and I wore  long reneissance gown, after that I saw Hindu man that scared me, I looked at him for a moment, but he was not speaking, all I felt is that he was not approving something and I didnt know what to think of him,I came back from that meditative state, I never tried it again since I was afraid and I was not quite sure what was it that I expereanced
I was afraid I will encounter something evil

But my wish to develop never vanished and is getting stronger,I am still afraid of evil but not that much,

what do you think I have expereanced, I am very curious to hear your opinnions
