What if Genesis is correct?

What if this physical and spiritual universe, as vast and complex as it is, regardless of our discovery, revelation or experience is just one 'Tree" in a greater, infinite incomprehensible reality?

What if we are all, either by choice or by force, caught up in "THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL"?

Perhaps there are other "Trees" that operate entirely differently, or are completely unbound.

Genesis reveals one tree that is apparently both extremely guarded as well as desirable, called "THE TREE OF LIFE".

What if the "Way" out of this reality to taste the Tree of Life, is not by conforming to, understanding, or evolving within this reality, but rather by rejecting it altogether. There seems to be no disagreement that "Love" is the ultimate truth.
What if the real lesson in love is not stubborn self empowerment, but a willingness to yield.

Imagine a fallen soldier, a crippled or wounded person, or just an angry, defiant selfish individual struggling against the grain to get his way.

If a helping hand is offered to a sincerely grateful and accepting soul, He may take the hand to lift him out of hell.

An insincere, desperate and defiant soul makes no effort to accept the help, but in fact rejects it, dooming himself to his demise.

Truly, there is no denying that this physical universe is subject to death and entropy. Organisms expire, stars ehaust themselves, planets will die, all indications are that matter itself will eventually secumb to entropy, with no life sustaining vitality. Truly, however, the "first Cause" is extremely patient and generous in providing a vast universe with a life in the billions of years. We can watch the cycle of life and death, study the mechanics of the universe, wait for the inevitable death of our bodies, stars, galaxies and draw our own conclusions.

We can beleive that there is an endless opportunity for "soul growth" within the confines and laws of this universe, that perhaps through means of alternate dimensions, oscilating "big bangs" or some other theoretical construct of the mind that allows for perpetual existence within this framework. Or we can ponder the possibility that eventually, and although perhaps in the far distant future, this "Tree" will expire, and any soul left by choice or by force to exist within it will have no pretty planets, lifeforms, or even molecules to occupy and thrive within - nothing but darkness, silence and death.

I beleive there is a way out. It is Grace overriding Karma.
This enfuriates many because it rocks the foundation of this universe.
I beleive that this overriding law is absolute and genuine.
It is not something that is available to the insincere, defiant or desperate soul. It may be able to descern the condition of a soul and rescue it from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but it may not necessarily remove the impression or self-imposed consequences of exposure to this reality and choices/actions made within it.
something to think about.
