The Indigo Children

Well, I guess my thought is that if we believe in evolution - and we believe that an awakening is happening - would it not be that each generaton exhibits a bit more of this awakening?

And my son doesn't exhibit the typical ADHD symptoms that from what I've read here are attributed to the Indigo characteristics.  Now, my daughter - well, that's another story.  Errr - but she was also premature.

Anyways, my son is quite the opposite. Calm, polite, works better with grown-ups....etc.  I don't see him as "special" or better than most - I do see him as different though than kids his age.  And because of his sensitivity lead me to ask why?  Now, he can be a mean cuss to his sister - let me tell ya -

But for the most part - to me- he exhibits characteristics that are not typical for kids of his age or younger.

-empathy for his sister or others when they are hurt (he'll cry or run and try to help)
-empathy for grown-ups that are sick (he brings me medicine band-aids, or wishes he grandma quick health)
-Very deep thought - in that he likes to really ponder things.  (sometimes he thinks he has the answer and doesn't)
-quiet and reserved
-Slow moving

I told him once, (and this is how I feel about him) baby, you're like an old man in a boy's body!

im 15. and i kinda fit every single description that they have for an indigo child. i also fit the ones you guys have for your children. i dont really think it means anything, other than i seem like a spoiled brat to everyone i meet. i dont think im an indigo though. my friend said my aura was green. when i look at it, its blue, and someone else said purple. i dunno.

Aura's arn't exactly a good way to determine if one is indingo. Although my aura has always been a dark blue, and when I OBE, I see myself as blue, this does not prove or disprove me being an indigo. Being an indigo is more a concious decision though. ONe must decide to take the responsibilities of becoming a person who will help others to develop. By doing this alone, one can begin to unlock their own potential and nature.

Am I an Indigo, a Crystal, or any other form of helper spirit, I do not know for certain, nor do I care. It is my choice to evolve spiritually and to help others.

Enter the Indigo Children

First came the Indigo Children. They are spiritual warriors whose function is to smash the old systems so that something new can be created. They are the "systems busters" who will liberate us from our "prisons" of belief.



They do this by incarnating into our families and communities. They bring with them their gifts of advanced spiritual development - their soul's of " indigo" light, indicating a high level of consciousness and wisdom. But, because they are so "aware" and "awake", they refuse to allow themselves to be constrained or enslaved by the impersonal "systems" of Earth.



They show us that gentle, wise and high level beings cannot flourish and thrive in the systems we have created. The high level of adolescent and teen-age dysfunction among Indigo children in our society is a signal that our society is dysfunctional and needs to change to accommodate beings of higher ability.



Enter the Crystal Children

The Indigo Children are the trailblazers, the ones who shock us into awareness and instigate change. They are followed by an even more powerful group, the Crystal Children. These children are "Warriors of the Heart". They are here to teach us the ways of love and peace.



Crystal Children are considered to be fully developed "masters" who carry the "christ (christos) consciousness" seed within them. This term denotes a being who is aware of his or her connection with divine source and chooses to live in harmony with this knowing.



Because they function at such a high level of consciousness, these children are extremely sensitive both to their environment and to the feelings and emotions of others. They have come to teach us about tolerance, repect for others and for our home, Planet Earth.



Teachers of Conscious Awareness

It may be true to say that advanced religions and philosophies have taught these truths for centuries, and the human race as a whole has still not been able to learn the lessons.



This is probably because the concepts have been understood as mental ideas, but not lived as a reality.



The Indigo and Crystal Children are here to confront us with these realities on the level of our families and communities. They are forcing us - through their very presence - to wake up to what we are doing to ourselves and to the planet. They do this in the way of the spiritual warrior, by living their truth and making us aware of our truth.



The Indigo Crystal Adventure

For these beings of Higher Consciousness, incarnating on planet Earth at this time is an adventure. It is a "group project" in which thousands of these souls are arriving as teachers and healers for the human race.



They are here to wake us up and they do whatever they need to shock us into conscious awareness. But they are also here to have fun. In the years that I have worked with Indigos, a constant theme in their lives in the desire to have fun.



They generally don't see their mission in a heavy and "responsible" way, and for this reason they are quite often underprepared and run into trouble with Earth systems and beliefs. It is our role to assist them to understand the nature of life on Earth and to help them to create the fun and joy that they seek. We need to affirm to them that we are hearing them and are willing to help them with their "mission" of conscious evolution.



Creating the "New Earth"

The purpose of conscious evolution for the Human species as a whole is to create a "New Earth". With the assistance of the Indigo and Crystal Children we, as a species, will rediscover our Oneness, our common humanity.



And we will use this knowledge to raise our consciousness and to begin to create a "New Earth". This will be a place where every living being can thrive and be respected for what it is. Where humans will learn to respect the similarities and the differences between them, and to live with loving tolerance of those differences. In fact, to celebrate the incredible diversity that characterises our "Oneness" and makes life an "adventure" in consciousness."

I remember stumbling upon an article about the Indigos on Wikipedia a while back, it's a very interesting concept. I think really, if you are in a progressive society then the later you are born, the more learning resources you will have available to you.

As we evolve as a culture we are learning faster, but at the same time, since with medicine we live longer, the period of childhood can be extended. Just like ours is much longer compared to humans of the past, and animals in general. A longer period to learn, combined with an accelerated rate, should lead to a more enlightened sort of people.

Erynys, you decide what to do, and that will be thing that you feel you need to do. It will not neccesarily be revealed to you with clouds opening and a divine light shining upon you (with obligatory cherebum and choir of angel's), you will one day simply choose to make a difference. The rest is just the easy part, its the understanding that you are given free will for a reaseon that takes effort and time.

No, its the answer people give to you in the hopes that you will motivate yourself to do something worth while rather than trying to find some life purpose that will find you anyways. Free will is perhaps the most important thing that we are graced with and it is truly a gift beyond all measure.

Hello everyone. I don't post often at these forums but a psychic attack last night prompted me to head this way again.

I fit the description of an indigo or crystal child in almost every way. I was born in 1982.

I've always known I was "different" than your average person (I remember being 4-5 years old and looking at the other kids and wondering if they remembered being alive before this life like I did) and was born with an intense connection to "the higher power" (whatever you call it) and also, a sort of second sight. I've encountered entities from the astral/energetic realm my whole life, some good, and some bad(the one last night was for sure bad). I've also always had a way of seeing the beauty in the world which is a very good thing because I'm a writer and a painter, and I'd like to be able to show the beauty I see all around me to the average person. I feel this is a part of my purpose, seeing beauty and truth and being able to find the correct tools to pass that seed of enlightenment to others, and help bring on a new wave of thought and growth.

I started "waking up" when I was about 17. I remember feeling like I was waiting for something my whole life, then it began happening. I can't tell the whole story, but many, many crazy things have happened and it feels like slowly the pieces of the puzzle of who I am and why I'm here are falling into place.

I didn't even know the term indigo child until recently. I know they are talking about people like me. For the record, Id like to say that I DON'T LIKE THESE WORDS. Indigo, starseed crystal children, etc. These are all human terms which in my opinion, limit not only our true potential and don't accurately describe who we are, but also SEPARATE us from those we are here to help. We are both separate but also the same, and we are not better than other people but just.. older I'd say, if I had to put a word on it. I feel extremely old, I have lived lifetimes before this one, and there are other old souls out there who are also old but not neccessarily the same thing I am, and there are other very young souls which might be like me. Its hard to explain, but I know I am from somewhere else, as I remember that place, vividly. I even travel there astrally sometimes and the feeling of home it gives me warms my heart enough to make me cry. I used to spend hours crying and wishing I would just die and leave this horrible world so I could go back home, but I didn't realize then that i CHOSE this, I chose to be born here in this time to do something. I don't exactly understand what it is, but I know my being here has a very important purpose. We all have a purpose if we choose to find it, but I guess I just already had it clearly set in front of me from birth onward.

All my life has lead me up to these next few years. For my entire adult life, I've been waiting for the cue to "take off". I don't know what this journey will mean, or what I'm supposed to do, but I guess I'll find out when I get there. I'm selling my car, all my things, and taking off with nothing but one change of clothes and a pack on my back. I'm going all over the world, but specifically I'm going down to central and South America. I don't know why. I just feel called there. Recently I've been reading a lot about 2012 and alien ancestors and the Mayans, etc. Kinda funny huh? Who knows what will happen.

Anyways, I just wanted to offer some thoughts from a supposed "indigo" kid (or grown up) lol. The only thing I should say is forget words, words are limiting. We are all people, seeking something. Don't stop searching, growing or loving, and be open. When we are open, the truth becomes obvious, and it's beautiful.
