It's really an important lesson, but could you share some ways of starting the acting?[:)] ....I mean that it's also hard sometimes - when you're ready to do everything and to use your power, but you feel that kind of barrier infront of you that makes you just stand still...like in a bad dream...

thanks, be safe[:)]

actually, the act part is the easiest part of it ^_^

Stop. Most people seem to be balls of mental confusion to me, having multiple streams of thought on their mind at all times, and while that's not neccessarily a bad thing, it does create problems when you are trying to implement a solution for your immediate situation. Therefore, you should stop everything you are doing and thinking, and just let your mind sit in calm emptiness for a few moments.

Think. After your mind is calm and at ease is when you should think. This is when you should focus upon the immediate situation and gather both general and specific information which are relevant.

Think only about the immediate situation, not beyond. Think about the entire situation, not merely parts of it. These two are subjective items and where their limits are is up to the discretion of you. After gathering information about the situation, then you would (normally) process that data and finally use that processed information to determine all possible solutions (However, I instead make a short mental jump to the end and figure out how I want the situation to turn out, or how to solve whatever problems there are, and then process the information towards those ends.). And the last step of this stage is to decide which solution you will implement.

Act. This is where you merely set about accomplishing the solution ^_^. All the details of the solution should be determined and/or decided upon in the "Think" step, so this stage should merely be doing, not thinking.

and lastly, a note on the difference between determine and decide. though likely everyone knows that difference while looking at the two side by side, the difference can often be forgotten in the real world. When you determine something, you gather information and try to figure out what the information is. When you decide something is when you are given a choice and you conscientiously pick one of the choices, usually based upon many factors and priorities. so an example would be: I determine that there are two flavours of chips on the shelf (ketchup and dill pickle) by looking at the various bags and reading their titles and/or looking at the colours of the bags, I decide to buy the ketchup because I feel like eating ketchup flavoured chips. simple and silly example, but it illustrates the crisp difference.

another situation might be where someone is lying on the ground and you can see them bleeding out the mouth and performing cursory first aid you also determine that their leg is broken. normally, the top priority would be taking care of the most life-threatening injury, but if you've exhausted all avenues of information gathering and still can't figure out why they are bleeding out the mouth (and also cannot figure out a way to stop the bleeding), you might have to decide to work on their leg first.

a more fleshed out answer, but it's all really simple [:)]. so the next time you're in a situation where you find yourself in a state of confusion and disarray Stop yourself and calm yourself. and then Think. and after all relevant thinking has been done (allowing for time constraints and priorities) and you have decided upon a course of action, then Act. i find it very handy myself ^_^

Haematite you seem to lack strategy to your work , It doesnt have to a "conquer the world plan" if the task seem to daunting ,split it up into pieces until you find something you can do today.

Dont worry to much about results youll get some anyway.not neccerly the one you are looking for but it if you find out exactly where it went wrong you can learn not to do the mistake again(like procrastinating to the very last day), Be Precise in your "wrongness analyse" .

All this may seem like some work , but its ussually redundant when your doing task your good at , experts doesnt always know why ,they just know and do.But your not asking how to learn to act on skills your allready very good at do you ?(then you are just a little bit more lacy than me[:D])

Still after doing the to steps with strategy and knowing exactly how to execute "whatever" you find yourself STILL PROCRASTINATING in squere 1. Why ? you need reasons , your will is scattered on this subject , and needs fuel and be reshapend into a instrument fine enough to overcome the inertia of idleness and strong enough not to break in the middle of the task.

Bluntly said ,you need reasons , it can be many small reasons or 1 huge one . Think over the concequences of not doing it , what do gain if you do it ,remember to consider oppertunitys in the further than the imidiate future also .

For mowing the lawn some might need only the reason of not being ashamed of it infront of the nabours (and will often set the kids on the task[:D] or) drag themself trough one hour of sour work.

On the other hand a man whose gonna have the wildest lawn party with crocket and potencial of getting laid at end of it . Will most likely do it himself with joy and energy ,getting it just right! Now the work is the same but the reasons are not . FIND YOURS ! dont even bother looking for reasons not to it . why?

You know them allready by hearth and are acting on them (procrastination of your considered task)!
And finnally thought not realy needed, fuel yourself up with thinking on your what your feelings will be when the task is completed , if not that great , think of when you completed something you cared about what was your feelings then? NOW DO IT!

If not then congratulations you have completed a full analysis of the situation and found out that the task was NOT worth doing. And you are well prepared to pay "whatever" not to do it. Do not let this subject bother you any more ,when enjoying life or considering other hopefully more worthwhile tasks.

Now why did i bother writing all this in responce to your question inside anothers post , I did not even consider all the steps , since i have erh written several post before i like to think im good at it. I only focused on the goal of getting a "good" reply on the subject out.And started doing it.

If i had done that analyses i would have concluded it was NOT worth it. You see its the exact opposite of your problem. Its because i enjoy and know EXACTLY(most times) how to type replyes on subjects i persive myself to know something about.[;)]Cheers.
