How are spirits seen?

Something like a little twinkle of light which you might just see out of the corner of your eye. I have seen these a few times when at home and somewhere else indoors, and wondered if they were related to clairvoyance or just a trick of light.

Yeah could be, ive been reading a book before and tiny lights like litte stars have appeard and then dissapeared realy cool ![8D]

I did wonder whether these were related because of my experiences with the strobe effect and projection. Do these things develop in harmony with each other?

Hi Samsara,

To expand on the subject you if not already done do might find it well worth reading Robert Bruce's guide on auras. See: http://www.astralpulse.com/guides/auras/auras.htm

Developing this faculty will help you in turn to perceive spirit presence in a new light. Although the guide is not specifically directed for this aspect of clairvoyance it is well worth studying.

Incidentally spirit can be perceived as lights. But there are other phenomena which can confuse. For instance go out for say an early morning country walk or at the sea and one may often perceive or feel that they are seeing a multitude of fine tiny lights. Some schools of thought say this is prana, energy, orgone etc. Other say it may be awareness of ones own energy field and so on. The thing here is however much you read: practice will offer an opportunity to develop whatever skill you wish, and then you can make your own judgments! I personally find that I have had to continually revise my perspective as time moves on and I feel that experience gathers new insight!

Spirit can be seen in many ways. Either subjectively or in the case of physical mediumship in a more objective fashion! Certainly in the circle work I have done – I have had many opportunities to see spirit including the appearance of overshadowing. Although some schools of thought see this type of supperposition of faces as past life images. But then if one sees a face of say a loved one who passed on, then your thinking may shift etc. Similarly one may perceive spirit during meditations or a better term would be 'sitting for attunement with spirit' rather than sitting in a meditation for connection with higher self or divine aspects/god etc etc.

A big wonderful subject all the same and as you can image many view points exist.

I've seen spirits in several different ways, since a very young age.  

I've seen shadows, full form, or lights.  I've only see the lights while pregnant with my children..I have no idea why that is, but I've come to conclusion...(my conclusion..[]) that the lights were my childrens spirits hanging around me waiting to be born. [^]

I've also had my hair stroked, and pushed physically to the side.

1mm, 1cm or 1 meter? []

Just reminds me when I saw these flickerings all the time.
Evenetually they got bigger and bigger.

I also saw these lights while reading. I think the size was around the size of an eye (I think[]) It just seemed like a coincidence that these things are suddenly occurring.

Are we moving to bringing the Orb debate back in here one wonders? Personally I am in two mind about the phenomina, but am open to fresh thinking on this (maybe)!

Ive seen orbish type blobs of energy floating around, but when I was reading it was like  beautiful little stars that twinkeld, expanded then kinda burst! they where bright white and silver and violet before it burst.

what I saw appeared to be a sparkle and they all occured when I was reading or when my mind was focused on something. I don't think I have encountered these in the past, only recently.

The only things I see are tiny neon electric blue streaks/threads of light.
I usually see them if Im gazing my monitor and there is a white background on the screen.
I have no idea what they are...
