I was just curious. When I'm relaxing and focusing on my breathing, I start vibrating. I was just curious about why I vibrate. Is it because my consciousness is realizing that the body is just vibrating energy? I was just curious.
Are you doing it in a cold room? :p
Seriously, meditation is seen by some as attuning to 'higher vibrations' or something like that jazz.
I don't think it has anything to do with your body realizing it's vibrating energy, that doesn't make much sense. If that were true, the more viscous substances would be having epiphanies of vibrations, and I don't see them doing it.
Okay, thanks for the reply. With all the OBE stuff, I thought maybe these vibrations were just consciousness noticing that it leave.
One of the most important things during meditation is that the tendency to think in words slows down. Thinking in words is one of the biggest ties to the purely physical. You also increase your energy in meditation, because the mind is less scattered and the attention is in one place. This draws in energy, which follows attention. When you raise enough energy, it will tend to stimulate the higher bodies like the astral body. Your meditation is also helping to train you to not react as impulsively toward unexpected sensations, which will make it easier to work with pre-projection symptoms like the vibrations.
Hey Tom, thanks for the great incite.
