Universal Interconnection

Every text on the supernatural/occult I come across and nearly everyone I meet who is a practitioner of magick/astral projection/etc. believes without a doubt that every being is linked together and is part of one being or source -"universal interconnection".  Have any of you come across alternate views or opinions in books or articles about this topic?  Thank you.

Hi there Asif,

Like you, I have never come across any texts or beliefs that suggest we are not part of a universal whole. Having said that, most belief systems suggest that at the same time, we are individuals. Connected parts of a whole.

Physical life suggests that we are individual, seperate entities. Yet our spiritual nature & the nature of our relationships with others implies we are interdependent.

Oh yes,.... in fact I have a few Visions that help verify the premise.

In one, I was confronted by a young man who looked like an adolescent Ramakrisha.  He startled me when he looked at me with so much bliss and love.  Then this Godly Voice in the sky spoke saying "then he went out into the Wilderness and became One".  and the Young Man turned and walked out into the desert.  I noticed that he had this blue-silver Aura, but then as I looked around I noticed that everything had the same blue-silver Aura. His lifeforce was the same lifeforce in All Things.

Then I had this Vision of the Angel of God.  No Burning Bush.  This was a Burning Oak Tree!  After a discussion with This Angel about another subject, the Angel finished with "and Remember One Thing:  Birth is but an illusion and Christ is the Life in All Things".

The common thread of Mysticism from every Religious Tradition is Cosmis Unity.

Do you mean modern Satanism as in the Church of Satan, Anton LaVey, etc. or a more classical version where Lucifer was actually worshipped or looked upon as a symbol of righteous rebellion?  They are quite different and as I understand it, the former does not require spiritual beliefs, but places one's individuality at highest priority and does not look down upon materialism.  I personally find the latter more appealing.

i find the modern form appealing as well, however:  both share the love of sensuality and joy in individualism that is in stark contrast with more social/community oriented belief systems
