Recently I saw a clock display 11:11:11, or 11:11 and 11 seconds. I thought that was pretty remarkable, especially as it was one of those gee-whiz Sharper Image clocks that displays "floating" red letters and numbers on a spinning fan and only shows the time every 5-7 seconds.

Is it possible to anyone that this is nothing at all?  Perhaps 11:11 showed up all over the place but it's only because you are now looking for it that you recognize it?  Sitting around and see that it's 11:08 so you anticipate 11:11 and then think it's a sign of something?  It stands to reason that if you picked something specific to look for throughout the day you will likely see much of it.

I have been catching the time 11:11 for as long as I can remember.  Did it twice yesterday!

I use to think there was some big omen thing happening, like I would die on that time, etc.  Superstitious stuff.

Now I think it means nothing more than the fact that it looks odd enough for me to notice.  I could be catching the clock more frequently on another set of numbers but because they aren't odd looking, I don't notice.

I like the idea of belonging to an enlightened group of people though, maybe I should change my mind.

OK, this is really wierd, but kind of useful...
This has never happened to me.  Being a rather sad kind of chap, I sometimes watch clocks for this sort of thing, but it has never happened to me randomly.  Now, a a couple of days ago, I read this topic, and EVERY TIME I think about the "11:11" effect without any outside stimulation, I know that if I look at a clock or watch, it WILL be one of those numbers.  In the first day, I thought about it 5 times: at 06:06, 10:10, 11:11, 1:11 and 3:33.  I now set my watch by it; it's always PERFECTLY correct.  The wierdest thing of all is that a Wiccan friend of mine who had been trying the N.E.W. system has also been noticing this - from the same time I had!  And she has never even heard of this!  Perhaps it's contagious? [:O]

Hi All,

I keep seeing the numbers 11:11. Almost everywhere
on bank notes,bills,commercial ad, books , digital clock,
e-mails.I see the 11:11 at least once or twice day sometime
more. I also see many double digit 77 and 88.

I heard there is a meaning to this ,its a sort of 'wake up code'
or 'new beginning' signal.

I'm looking for more information on the 11 - 11 phenomena.
