Law of attraction, or warning from "God"?

Often when I'm afraid of being wrong in my beliefs, I see Christian imagery in the world...I tend to notice it more often when I'm afraid of such things as going to Hell or being wrong.

Do you think it's the law of attraction (since I'm thinking about it, my subconcious mind is attracting more of what I think) or a message from "God" telling me I need to "accept Jesus" or go to Hell?

If you are a Christian, and you respond with a reply validating my fears, I will not listen. You are not the only voice.

The true God gives messages of love and invitation to eternal life. God doesn't force anyone to have eternal life, otherwise people would be miserable. God allows people to seperate from Him and annihilate (since God is our life source, we would cease to exist if we were to separate from him).

In the bible, nothing happens when you die and you don't go anyawhere because the soul isn't being vitalized by the spirit of life. Hell in the bible is just the "grave". The annihilation by fire from heaven doesn't occur until the resurrection that occurs 1000 years after the second coming of Jesus. Hell is really the end of misery unlike what most christians say.

Maybe it's what your brand of christianity taught you.  It's called 'conditioning.'

What do you think?  And what do you believe?

So why are you asking a diverse forum for an answer and then announcing that you will only listen to some answers?

I've found a site that you may find very interesting and it is free of christian bias, doctrine, dogma, tradition, etc

There is no doubt that there is Christian imagery in the world.
The only question is if Christianity was build around them or if they appeared after Christianity to prove it. I think its the former.

You will notice every religion will have imagery somewhere in the world.

And ask yourself this:
What kind of God gives you the power of free will and then throws you into Hell for not believing in Him by following free will. It would suggest that he likes toying with people for his amusement.

Do not FEAR. There is nothing to fear, after all it is only a feeling that is instigated by a thought.

Because you are in your current state of being unsure about your reality, and because you have been indoctrinated into one belief-system, you will see more of that system's imagery. Besides, our entire culture is built on the christian belief-system, so it is bound to be so prevalent around you.

This thing called god is misperceived to a radical degree. God is not a being, not a name, it is only a descriptive term used throughout human history. We could say you are God, or we could say you are a Corporal, a Monogamist, or anything else. These only tell us what rank/preference you may have but tell us nothing at all about your true nature. So too does the word God.

All religions have Followers. They are the sheep that keep the edifice alive for so long. Once we strip away the purposeful and accidental misinterpretations, inclusions and omissions we can clearly see the whole picture.

Let us say, Jesus's (real name Esu) task here was to inform us that we are not minions, little and unimportant things, sheep, but rather that we are as gods, that we are capable of the greatest insights and understandings, that all are truly equal in the sight of 'god', that we only need to come to know ourselves and we will know it is us who are the 'sons of the living father', and, that we can do as he did. This tells me that he thought a change was needed in the way things were done, so they supposedly killed him to prevent such knowledge getting out to the masses who were under control by their chosen belief-systems. Oh yes, don't rock their boat or you may suffer, it's exactly the same today.

After his purported death he and his wife are recorded as traveling in many other countries as living and breathing human beings, so you have only been given the information your culture wanted you to know to keep you in line. Through his own Awakening to higher awareness he was able to see the inequalities of the traditional control dramas.

And, after his 'death' there was a massive struggle for the control of his followers and what they believed. His brother was the head of his group at the time and was against the inclusion of the lie that he died for our sins, which of course has become a major control mechanism in the minds of all people who choose christianity to believe in. And this was only one point of the disagreement his brother had with Paul about the direction they should take, which is why Paul/Saul overthrew the leadership and forced his own opinions on the followers.

If I was to offer advice other than to have no fear, it would be to walk your path and not follow, discover for yourself, have your own experiences and do not be swayed by the beliefs of others who attempt to force their views upon you, but rather follow your own instinct, intuition and the voice of conscience within. Do so and you will be fine.

I hope this is some help for you.
