All Jolenes should stand together!...ok, I know that's cheesy, but I've only known two other people to have my name. Write back and give us updates on how she's doing.

Hi All, Hi Lucid Dancer,

an update:

Jolene has been undergoing many tests - including cancer tests and tests for a variety of conditions relating to liver function.  She's not going to get results until after the first, but she's been doing better : ).  She's on medications, is less sick (not throwing up constantly in other words), and feels more positive.

Thank you again for any thoughts, prayers and healing energy sent Jolene's way...

Hi All,

I have a friend - her name is Jolene - who is going through some very difficult health problems.

She had her gall bladder removed and was told by her doctor that her liver would take on its functions...  this has not happened.

What is happening is that her liver is shutting down - her liver enzime levels are escalating, making her sick, and in the long run, very likely making her a candidate for a liver transplant if the situation cannot be corrected.

Jolene is a young lady of 20 who is just starting out her life.  She is keeping a positive attitude so far - she has a serenity about her about all this which to me, speaks to her character - I can't tell you how truly wonderful she is...

If we can keep her in our thoughts and prayers and send some healing energy her way she would be grateful.

She lives in Spokane Washington.
