(I wrote this to another site but thought the more people read,the better it is.)

I don't know what to say exactly here;but I will ask for some help:I have been suffering from diabetes for nearly 11 years now and due to bad caring my kidneys are about to stop working.And after that I will die.I won't let this happen;I will kill myself before my illness does.Here,in Turkey, we have an examination to be passed in order to enter the university.I have just won it,this year, and my family is happy becasuse this is an hard examination to pass.I didn't kill myself until now because I know that my parents will feel bad for my death.I don't want to do this because they are happy now,for I have entered the university.Also,I know that they will break up after my death because my dad always blames my mom for my illness (for no reason at all) and says to me that he wouldn't stand her(My mom is an angel so is my dad;but they can't communicate) if I weren't around.I don't want all this sad things happen.Please help me to get rid of this illness and gain my kidneys back.I'll wait for 2-3 days and then kill myself if I'm not healed.I maybe am wanting so much from you;but you are my last hope.I look healthy people around me with envy.They can eat and drink anything they want,they can go anywhere without a need for injection of insulin.I don't know what information I am to give but I will be following this thread for 2-3 days.Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

You might want to stay around for a while just to see how it will turn out, things change, you never know. Wouldn't a kidney transplant do it?

It's hard to measure how your death would affect those around you, can you really imagine all that effort from the day you won the race, the day you were born, learned to walk and talk, fell down, hurt your knee and healed.

This could be one more thing to go through, or could be the breaking point of your life. How are you gonna face it? What attitude could make you feel good about yourself?

Imagine you're on a war. Part of you wants to win, part of you is willing to fight, part of you wants others to fight for you, part of you wants to die, but no part of you wants to lose. And you know why? Because you can't lose, the disease is the battlefield, not really the enemy, it's posing you a question: what part of you is stronger? What do you really want? Will you stand for yourself? Make it so that you will feel proud to watch the movie afterwards.

Her story was amazing.I wish I had an experience like that.And the war example you have given was motivating as well.Both made me stand longer.But I don't know how long it would go...Thank you anyways.
