I will!  I really admire your affinity with animals and nature.  It's as if ....... (can't think of how to put it into words)  It's people like you, in allaspects, you with your nature, someone else with their goodwill, someone with thier sevrice etc.. that we all strive to bring a little into ourselves.  I'm sure your hampster will do fine with you watching over him, and if not, he will have been a very lucky little guy.  [|)]

Thank you Shawn.

I am glad that someone else cares also. Moonbeam seems to be doing alright, his ears are up, his coat is shiny and fluffy, and he is active, so hopefully he will be ok. I know he is a little sad still, as am I, because I can't play with him like usual because I have a cold/flu type thing. It has gotten better, but hamsters can catch colds and stuff which can cause them to become very ill very fast, so I don;t want that to happen to him.. I have been reading with him while he is in his ball not within my direct breathing range and holding him for maybe a couple of minutes after washing my hands. But we are both sad about this. I hope he doesn't think I am doing this to him on purpose, I have told him the reason using word pictures and emotions, I think he understood, but he is still sad about it.

Thanks again for your kindness and caring.

Your love & concern for your little hamster
Moonbeam is very touching. I too, have several hamsters.
They are adorable. I also have 2 Rats. I said a little
prayer for Moonbean. I'm sure it'll be just fine.

Child of the Forest

Hey everyone,

The other day, I went into my room and saw that Moonbeam, my hamster friend had gotten out of his cage. Luckily, he was standing on the foot of my bed when I foind him, but he had been on the floor and ate a few things that are bad for him, like  some ornage seeds I had been saving to giev to someone go to Florida so they can be planted and possibly some pine needles and  other things I don't know about. I took him to the Animal hospital, they said it would be too risky to put him under anestesia for an x-ray, so they gave him a shot of fluid that should help him pass ahything that had gotten into his stomache. I prayed that this would work and that anything bad would pass out of his stomache, if you guys would do the same, we would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.
