torn muscle

I tore a muscle that's attached to my ribs and it's persistently discomforting. I work physically for a living, so any relief is valuable to me as it allows me to contribute more effectively. Any positive intent on this community's part would be much appreciated.

Thanks Stookie, and yes it hurts when I breathe, turn my neck certain ways and don't get me started on coughing or sneezing!

I've hurt my back before and every breath was painful. And your issue sounds much worse... my sympathies.
