Synergy

After reading this particular forum, I have really noticed how much hate still exists between people of different belief systems.  Here we are in the 21st century, and still arguing over little details like dogma.

There is ONE creator... does it matter by what name we call God?  Can it not be the same exalted being we are referring to? Would the creator of the entire universe be so concerned with our small details of dogma differing between organized religions? Would the creator condemn one people over another because of differing dogma? Would such an exalted being as our creator really want to see us kill one another over these details? Would God not love every being on Earth as his creation equally?

I remember reading a passage in the Bible once, that explained that the Father's house was not made of stones or wood....  I can't find it again. Does that passage not suggest though, that we can all find God within us?

After reading things like this in the news...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080814/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq

... I can't help but wonder how much "news" is propaganda and how much is actually real. There is no information given here as to the bomber's motives. That's a problem, because it looks like she just randomly decided to wake up one morning, travel to a sacred spot, and blow up a lot of innocent people. Maybe that is what she did, and in that case, the article portrayed the event accurately, but there has to be more to this than what is being said in the news. From an American viewpoint, one can only assume the suicide-bomber had religious motives. It seems likely that this is the case, but how can we know for sure? And what does that mean about what sources we trust for our information?

I wonder when this suicide-massacre craze all began. Who started it and where did they learn it? It didn't just suddenly spawn on September 11, 2001.

Yes, media disinformation is getting more and more prevalent. And it is so very tiresome...

Nope, religiously inspired mass suicide/killings is not a new concept at all, they did it in the middle ages, and also long before that.
It's just the means/weapons that evolve with the times. Bombs are just so messy and brutal and makes for good shock value.
Not many things makes such a nice loud statement like a couple of pounds of C4 with 4 inch nails or steel balls around it.

Hate and fear truly are this world's mind killers... and "they" will always be using them.

It is in the intention; your intent.  Just like, what do you think the suicide bomber was intending to do?  You can 't really answer that unless you have some back-up information, like what did the suicide bombers do before they flew their missions in Pearl Harbor?  I can't think of any move by any people or country before then that would be considered 'suicide.'
But then, what was the religious beliefs of the suicide bomber?  It could not have been Shiite unless she ran into the crowd and yelled 'O Shiite!'
