Monroe said it's to develop our I-There.
Buhlman says it's to develop our individuation.
Moen says it's to express and experience PUL.

What do you think?
Moen also has the idea that it's curiosity that have driven us here where we are.
Buhlman says most people descend to the astral (F 24 - F 27), and don't go to
C1 as it is considered too extreme. It's only we incarnates that have gone C1,
as it gives the most development due to highest friction.
Someone said it was the feeling of being lonely, which gave rise to the travel
to C1 and dualism.
Are there other astral perspectives?

If you look really deep into those... they're all the same thing.
What do you think Pauli?
I would say that our I-There is bored. So it sends down incarnates.

There is much truth to this perspective Xanth

I know the feeling of 'bored' – I haven't felt it in many years. As an instigative fundamental, it is flawed. It is more a human concept due to the way our life is lived (collectively speaking) and therefore is unlikely the Reason that Physical Life was Invested in...incarnates might be dumb, but they're not stupid. :)
I am composing a short story – I started yesterday and it is focused on this very question.
I am allowing the 'story' to flow – so it is in 'draft' mode, and likely to remain there.
I will research "I-There" and look at the information.
I can tell you this much, I do not endorse the personal belief that what is referred to (by most individuals) as "The Astral Realm(s)" as being the thing(s) responsible for creating human life form, or this Universe.
The "Astral Realm" is MOSTLY all the creation of The Collective Human Mind System. This (human co-creation of the Astral Realm) has been ongoing dating back to as far as humans have been in this incarnation as life forms on a Planet. (Earth)
That is my reasonable perspective.
"Boredoms just another word for 'nothing left to do."

CF says it's to reconcile the conscious with the subconscious. But what do I know, right?

Monroe came to an impasse. He did not know what he was supposed to be doing. He felt that somehow he had taken a wrong turn or missed an important element. A new direction materialized: "The prime need was to know myself without equivocation. The more I came to know myself the more I would know what I am in nonphysical expression, and the closer I would come to the reason for the path I seemed to be taking" (p. 141).
Upon coming to this conclusion Monroe spent a year delving into the makeup of his I-There (beyond physical existence). He discovered a number of "layers" that played a part in defining his I-There. The memory layer is a complete record of one's entire life. It is constantly being updated by continuous signals from the physical body. Near the memory layer he found a fear layer and an emotional layer. Apparently the I-There creates an efficient system for dealing with and categorizing these issues. Monroe concludes that we all have our own active I-There, which is constantly looking after us, and that we all have the potential to replicate his experience for ourselves. Physical life is just one of an infinite number of ways that consciousness can experience itself. The "I-there" is also an expression.
Fractals are great representations of the whole. Hard to explain, but once understood it's the easiest, simplest explanation of consciousness and infinity.

I saw it my first time around 1997 and had quite an insightful new view of nature and consciousness after that. It still holds true for me today.
