T_Kman0610,

GREAT Question!!  And...I might add, a question that has not only been stumping philosophers, theologians and mystics for thousands of years, but a question that scientists have been chewing on for quite some time!![8D]

That my friend is one of the main questions that many religions have been trying to answer--hence God.  So, you have made your way to the bottom line at a very early age!!  I believe you may be a philosopher or scientist in the making!![:)]

So, now that you have formulated the question, where do YOU think "nothing" really came from?

i really havent got a clue, maybe it was created out of thin air but at the time, air didnt exist lol so i dont know how anything is possibly said of creation when it never exiated in the first place. this very question has had me very confused. do you think god had parents? maybe it was an infinite thing, like his parents parents parents lol nd so on, [8D] it is so hard to to say something was created because the thing that that created was created by somethingelse whish has an infinit possiblity of creations....wow![8D]

Logic

Causality.

For every action, there is a reaction. But how can you get something from nothing, an action from no action? Matter and energy from nothing? Apparently, Everything would have had to exist for eternity before and eternity to come, otherwise it could not have possibly existed. In a sense is god not everything and nothing, and if god is eternal, then does that not make the rest of existance and conciousness infinite?

Well I as usual need the cookies on a very low shelf[:)]however I did think about this and came up with the following. In order for anything to exist it must have all the physical dimensions and one more it must have time. Without time nothing can exist in this world. However it seems that in the spiritual, dimention and who knows how many there are Time as we know it does not exist. Therefor there is no beginning and no end this is why God is all that existed and since there was no time there was no "before him" maybe this is why Jesus called himself "alpha and omega" the beginning and the end. (of time)

first off id like to say that im very confused about where everything has evolved from, i mean if god created the universe and everything else, than before all that what was here or there or anywhere? where did god come from? and for those who dont believ in god than where do you think where enything came from, its like it came out of thin air or something. well i dont believ you can create something out of thin air. it had to of came from somewhre, even if it did come out of thin air, i believe it dematerialized from somewherelse and materialized back where you are. some what does everyone think about this? i mean where did nothing comefrom?

very best,
