What's that supposed to mean? I believe immortality of the soul is conditional and depends if you are feeding it, spiritually speaking, or else it will cease to exist....I believe there is Life Source to be connected to so our soul can continue to exist.

The soul, being one small portion of the One energy having Awareness (god) can never be anything other than Perfect already. It is immortal in respect to it's being a portion of what you call god. Is anything of god imperfect? No.

So you don't need to do anything to improve your Soul, there is nothing you can do to harm it or make it imperfect. What you can do is come to know yourself, the Soul you are, in order to be the amazing and powerful being 'your god' intended you to be. This is why Jesus told us we can do the same and more than he did.

It annoys me that belief-systems indoctrinate us into believing we are small, insignificant and especially flawed and imperfect. The only imperfection that exists is the fact that real knowledge of awareness has been kept secret from us so that those who hold the reins can control us, eg: religions controlling our beliefs so that we never come to know the Truth.

Your christian religion says that god made you, made everything, so how can any of it be imperfect, or evil, or bad, or any other human value-judgment label you want to use?

It's time to wake up now.

The next question would be, why would your soul's immortality depend on the existence of the universe?  Immortal is immortal.  If it stops existing with the universe then it was never immortal.
I'm not arguing, I'm trying to get all the logical implications of this, and see you take it to it's logical conclusion.
I know that you asked if others think if it's a good belief system, and I believe that most have expressed what they think of it- I just want to hear what you think about it.

Ahh I see.  Ok, do you consider your being as an integral expression of this universe? Or something outside of it, or something else entirely- and if you can go to another universe (then it would be multiverse) would your being you change with the next universe?
BTW, I don't have a set belief system about any of this, which is partly why I'm asking all these questions.
