I can't quite find any posts on it, so any thoughts on the Codex Gigas and the mystery as to how it was written and the satanic imagery that it supposedly contains? According to Wikipedia "The codex has a unified look as the nature of the writing is unchanged throughout, showing no signs of age, disease or mood on the part of the scribe. This may have led to the belief that the whole book was written in a very short time (see Legend). But scientists are starting to believe and research the theory that it took over 20 years to complete" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_Gigas). The national geographic episode on the book clarified that it is a mystery (for those who don't trust wiki). Speculation, thoughts, comments?

Interesting... though I don't think the uniform text indicates anything other than the scribe's ability. This wasn't exactly 8th grade writing class. The devil's image is an interesting feature but it could mean anything... perhaps it was added after the fact as a gag or form of religious protest? Maybe it was inspired by an encounter with a deity claiming to be Lucifer? Either way, I doubt a spiritual entity actually manipulated the physical to such a degree that it produced a whole Bible manuscript.
