Do you have a point in all this?

kakkarot

hey look, books. by people. fallable people who probably are very biased against the bible and so are grasping at straws in order to "prove" it wrong.

and yet at the other end, i could point you, false prophet, to many MANY *MANY* books which seek to "prove" christianity right.

a complete waste of time, "prophet".

Hello!!!! The book.......Why?
Words.....there was a time when I believed in words!

Mohamed

Actually I love page 4 of this book.  Think of it in an OOBE point of view.
"Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before We clove them asunder, and We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?"

Satan = God

The Divine Substance is all that exists. There is only one substance and it has infinite amounts of attributes. Satan is an attribute. Nothing can exist outside of God. God is immanant and inside us all. God is not good or evil but rather just is.

Remeber that one day you will not exist any longer. Only the substance and its Divine Attribute of change (Lucifer) will reign supreme.

Bend knee to the fallen angel.

nice ideology if you want to buy it, but you've got no more proof to say *that* is truth then christians do to say that what they say is truth.

how do you get lucifer in there? that's like saying "an apple is green so the crow will reign supreme". and finally, why bow to a fallen angel that won't exist either? why not bow to the one that will exist even after that fallen angel is long gone?

*shakes head* pfft, amateur.[|)]

Lux may very well be the first to fall from the great darkness, but only because he is light, and light must pierce the darkness in order to exist.
Reguardless, no knee bending will be done. Such a force is in no way anthropomorphic. And even so, it is still Maya. Further more, the correlation is drawn up between the 1/3rd of forces which refused to create or change and faced karmic punishment as fallen angels, devils, or satans. So while Lucifer in it's highest archetypal form may be the progenitor of all, him and his cast of crazy demonic characters, aren't.
Satan != God. It's the very opposite. Satan is the other side of God and neither God nor Satan are anything but divided shadows of the indivisible essence.

LA FORET MAUVE

We have now the "anti-allanon" ! Why weren't you there when Allanon was preaching ? That would have been a nice war [:D]

Don't really know what to say in all that.  You believe in Satan, so you must believe in God.  You believe Satan will eventually be the ruler supreme because... God is going to die?  That's what I'm getting out of it.  So it doesn't seem that you are an athiest but rather a satanist.  In which case, no wonder you find answers to why God doesn't exist... consider the source of your influence.

Aaaah... TorosDead speaketh some sense.  And to play devil's advocate (ha ha ha) if you woke up the rest of your curiousity you'd research this further and realize both are basically just spiritual manifestations of a culture who doesn't yet realize it can stand on it's own yet.  Then you'd understand both are imaginatory and belief in one or the other (or even both) is just plain pointless.
Have a great day.

true enough ghost rider... IF they didn't exist. we cannot *know* whether they really do except through personal experiences which cannot prove anything to anyone else.

i've had quite a few experiences which prove God's existance, but even if i were to relate them, they'd prove nothing to anyone but me. after all, i could be lying [|)].

however, IF they do exist, then it's not so pointless to believe in them [;)]. the problem is that belief is a paradox: you can only believe something if there is no proof, for as soon as there is proof (either for or against) it moves from belief to truth.

I just dont get it at all. Probably becourse I am too stupid and most likely course I am a Christian

Ah but there are many truths that prove the existence of God, it's only our perception that is off.  There is but one truth, and though we cannot prove what that is, it doesn't stop it from being true, only from us KNOWING it's true.  If your friend were to travel across the world and bring with him a book about you.  It details your history, your kind acts, your evil doings.  It details you growing up, all the times you helped and hurt people... just everything about you.  Now that person whom your friend has told these things to understands what they mean, but simply has never seen your face and therefor has no reason to believe that you ever existed.  Your friend could simply have made it all up.  But the fact that this person doesn't believe you exist... doesn't change the fact that you do exist.  You see for most to believe they must see... that's the human condition.  We live in a physical dimension and everything we percieve is through a mere 5 senses.  But God is beyond anything physical.  He created both physical and spiritual and comprehends them both, where we only comprehend one.  So you see, He doesn't need to show you that he exists by coming to say hi in the middle of the night.  He touches that which is spiritual, such as the soul.  He lets you know that he is real not by means of the eyes... but through the heart and the mind.  Everything is perception, and if you stop to truly consider why God might exist, you will come to discover why God does exist.
