It's part of the Qabbalistic cross - a prayer if you like.
Atah, malkuth, ve geburah, ve gedulah, le olam, Omain.
Loosely translated:
Thine is, the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever, Amen.

Hope that helps.

Hello everybody!

Yesterday a girl said something in connection with what she said she saw in my eyes. She wrote it down on my arm: 'leolam' and stated that it is of hebrew origin. I looked it up and found that it means 'ever', 'eternal'. Is this correct? What other meaning does 'leolam' has?
The only thing that is "paranormal" in the Universe is our limited understanding of it.

Yes. the meaning is "forever" (i'm a native hebrew...)

Corban

Yep, that's a pick up line if I've ever heard one.

"Olam" can mean "Universe" or "Forever".  "Le" would mean "To" or "Go to"

Hi Somebloke,

Just for the trivia, "Olam" is in the intro to just about every Hebrew prayer written.

How about the word "timschel" from East of Eden did the Buddhist monks translate it correctly?
