Pyjamas in hand
Yawning, ever tired
Barely able to stand

Blankets on, pillows plumped
Bears ever there
Clock set, slippers off
Snuggle in, not a care

The world may go on
It will, it does, beyond me
Eyes closed, my favourite place
I can go now, I'm set free
