Unrelenting Stomach Pain.

This occured around 1979 for absolutely no reason. It's intensity defies words. It took me out completely.
Perhaps it was something that opened a door as a very well known gentleman went through the same.
I had a little time to myself and dont ask why but the memory came to mind. 3 days in hospital with nothing indicating anything wrong.
Crazy...
I've not posted one for a while too.


The asinine pain came, inane, all the same,
It gained its stupidity, and reined, oh it reined.
Doubled up intensity, again and again,
Was life left for living, this insanity named pain.

Then darkness appeared, the body, absconded,
Pain left behind, terminal I wondered,
Tranquility blessed, yet no tunnel or light,
No one in greeting, still time left to fight.

The darkness, pure darkness, juxtaposed from the night,
Intention, returning, new learning, must fight,
Returning objective, return to the light.
Darkness now clearing, now hearing, delight.

The pain came again, with fire in it's breath.
I suffered for hours, I suffered no death.
