Hey Lysear....

Wow...Bible Codes are something I had forgotten all about. I heard about them a few years ago and thought they sounded interesting. I don't however think that they are a valid base for divination. With any large body of text there are always going to be letters that spell out other words at some stepping number. Works like War and Peace, Moby willy, etc etc would all have codes in them too. A quich search on http://www.google.com for Bible Codes returned a page that states that Moby willy predicted the assasination of some presidents. http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

actually i think the man said that he tried to find codes in war and peace but coundt find any. The ones he used on the bible were the same formula all the way through.

I think there are many more plausible ways of divination out there than Bible Codes....but who knows....I might be wrong!

I dont know if this subject has been raised before but I just read another article about it in a british newspaper and I find it really intersting. the bloke who wrote the article talked about finding references to the sept 11th attacks in it. But that doesnt bother me too much because its after the actual event. What I found interesting are the references to nuclear war in 2006 but not from nation states but terrorists.

What does everyone else think of the validity of the bible code as a divinatory tool?
