Being pulled OOB by a separate entity?

I've always been helped out by guides a lot. One, a girl, was the most.  I've come to know a lot of them and especially her. I always am delighted to meet them again. Most of the times when I stretch out a hand s.o. is there, but not always. Sometimes we are meant to go out alone on our own.
