Downloading Attachments

I have also had this problem once - when I tried to download the tk video by Aphex.
I could make it work by manually editing the URL a bit - it was this: http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/file_library.asp?showmethefile=81&thatcat=18&thiscat=Miscellaneous - but it didn't work, and I decided to delete the parts with "thiscat" and "thatcat", since it did not really seem to be necessary to understand which file I wanted. So I went to the page http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/file_library.asp?showmethefile=81 which worked.

Perhaps you can try the same with your url?

Unless I am mistaken, it should popup a window.  Does it?
If not, would you be using some kind of "over-aggressive" popup blocker...?

thanks for your help but i dont have a popup blocker and i tried tinkering with the urls but to no avail.

when i click on the attachment link it asks me to logon again, even if i am already logged on. I type in my password and it says something like only members are allowed to download attachments.

Ok, I tried and it does open a new window with a login/password box already filled.  I just have to press submit and it then displays a link to the file...

Which browser do you use?  Maybe try another one...
I use Mozilla.

Hi,

I can also not download this attachment with IE. Mozilla worked, but I also got the log in screen - just hit "okay okay, log me in" and don't change the password. It seemed way too long to be correct for me, but that's what made it work anyway.. - in mozilla that is.
In IE I don't even get a page, it says "page can't be displayed".

ok thanks guys, i feel like an utter moron. All i had to do was click logon on again at the prompt, the 50 or so asterisks in the password form frazzled me. HA!

there is 1 other thing you can do if it doesn't work again. Up top there is a "file library" section which should have everything that was uploaded to the site. you can try it from there.

I dont seem to be able to download the attachment posted in the magic forums of the Kybalion. I have cookies enabled.
