I think the real indigo children will be born from yesterday to 2012, in conjunction to the Venus Transit.

Ohhhh, that spoils my illusion then!

When in all sincerity and I thought in my heart of hearts it had to do with the airing of the 1st episode of the Man from Atlantis and culminated with Arthur Dent been beamed up into the proverbial Vogon spaceship ...

Oh woe is me...

I don't know what colour my aura is but I've heard of Indigos.  If I go through the checklist I fit nearly every single one (except age).  I don't like to be labeled, though :)

jilola

The symptoms listed match for both so the diagnosis would be what?
An indigo crystal?

Seriously though, the idea that some people perceive the world and relate to it differently without it being a symptom of ADD or autism is something that should be considered and taken into account more.

The schools around the world are not designed to augment a childs interests or characteristics but to hammer all into a single one size fits all mold.

jilola,

I would say that the indigo effect is when (a) the subconscious mind/higher-self has a stronger connection with the amnesiac individual and (b) when the vibration of that persons blood, DNA, energy-profile is at such a high-level as to make them particularly immune to hyperdimensional forms of attack (ie. frequency control).

This makes them more tenacious with their ideals of resisting boring forms of education that certainly do more on minimizing right-brain activity than releasing creativity and innovation.

my two cents anywho...

hey u guys i am an indigo but if u guys want to know what your aura is here is a test.  it is on a scale from 0 being ur not that aura to 12 being u defanitly are that arua.  And the dark blue is the indigo.  SO have fun.

isn't every generation supposed to knock down the ideas of the previous one?  i haven't seen anything in this indigo child hypothesis that hasn't already been observed in the general population since the dawn of  good 'ol presumptuous civilization.
as below, so above

Has anyone else observed this as true? Particularly the observation about ADD?

I have been diagnosed with ADHD. What you are referring to is called "hyper-focus", and most people with ADHD hyperfocus on things they are interested.

This is very frustrating to her caregivers who want her to do what they want her to do. I have noticed that on occasion, people have spoken to her like she is spaced out half the time and once I point out to the caregiver that she is very focused, they treat her differently.

I'll bet it's very frustrating for your daughter to be interrupted, too. [:)]

ADHD is misunderstood by most people. Basically, it's just the people who have it are wired differently than most people. The explanation I liked, was that my brain just filters stimuli different than other people's. I don't see it as a disorder at all, it just has disadvantages because of the way society is set up.

This should be on a different thread, maybe, but it is kind of related, putting people into groups like ADHD or Indigo Children. This really is a double-edged sword, since it is both good and bad.

Also, you don't have to medicate ADHD. Plenty of people prefer not to. It's not like the medicine fundementally changes you it either, the effects are totally gone in 9 hours with the longest-acting ones I take.

Anyway, I could see how being called an Indigo Child could get you in trouble at school, etc. with all the bullying and teasing, and it probably is the same as an adult, just the bullying and teasing takes a different form. Saying that Indigo Children do exist, I think mainstream society would be pretty negative toward it.

Well,
I know I'm an Indigo Child because when I was two I learned how to pronunciate certain words very clearly, and when I was 3 my mom caught me drawing halos around this chick in a coloring book.
I also have a short memory, so with a little luck, I won't remember this by tomorrow.

Hey Madrox, Robert Bruce has some good imfo on Auric sight traing I do believe, you can find the link on the home page. there are a few books available.
An easy way to start would be to hold your hand out in front of you against a white wall in normal indoor light, say a 60 watt bulb, relax your view and  gaze just past your hand, after a while you should see a white'ish glow that will eventualy become a colour.

Those are called afterimages. That's why you still see it even when you close your eyes and turn in a completely different direction away from your hand and the wall.
