I would love to visit that area. Unfortunately I doubt it will be any time soon. If I make it across the ocean can I crash at your place? [:)]
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

No problems, as long as you are not an axe murderer ;-)

I wasn't last time I check. [:)]

So what is this festival? What is it like?

Every year for the month of August, Edinburgh (capital city of Scotland) hosts what is officially the largest arts festival in the world, and is a huge crazy mix of comedy, theatre, music and dance from around the globe.

To give you an idea of how big it is, remember that the Edinburgh Festival runs for one month, but if you wanted to see every show back to back, it would take you five years!
Obviously, you need to be selective!

PS This year I went to see a production called 'The Apprentice', a play which recounts the legend of the Apprentice piller in Roslin Chapel (Templer/Masons buffs should know this place); the play is actually perfomed INSIDE Roslin Chapel (which is situated just outside Edinburgh)..... I recommend this as the atmosphere is amazing, esp after just reading the Da Vinci Code!

Just wondering if anyone will be in town for the festival this year.
If so, we could meet up!
