im not a big dream expert so i cant help you much, but that sounds like a really cool dream in the least! i once had a similar dream where i was near the pyramids of giza, and it felt somehow different then the rest of my dreams. that was about 8 years ago and i still remember every single detail, just like an ordinary day of my past. actually i remember this dream in more detail then my childhood lol. maybe its teh same type of thing, and if so, id really like to know what it means...

Yes, it´s a similar dream i suppose, even in the fact that both of us had a different sensation about the dream. It´s like that this dream its not normal as the others.

About the fact that you are remembering better now your dream than in the past, one word of advice: it is known and said by experts (doctors, psycologists, scientists, etc) that our memorys can trick us. With time we will add or remove or change things in our own memorys. We dont notice that but it will happen. Maybe the same happened with your dream, but this is just a wild guess.

btw, i once had a strange dream too, very strange and long in wich i found the existence of an horrible and very ancient race of aliens (very powerful and ultra inteligent) that g«had some strange and secret bases in Earth. It was a strange dream too.

Why do we have  these dreams? I mean, they are not just diferent from the others in the scenario (aliens, secret locations,etc) but also in their feeling and in their essence. I know that they are different because i can feel it. In some rare ocasions, like these dreams, the dream will not just end when i wake up. No, instead, during the day i will rememebr often the dream and still feeling the same things during the dream.

Dreams, in my experience, are nothing more then an accumulation of all the concious and subconcious events that occur within the period of a single concious day.  Many, many will disagree I'm sure.  But just try to consider it.  Things you are looking foward to the next day, things that stressed you out during the day, daydreams that occured at some times, perhaps the plot of a movie you saw or someone you were thinking about.  They all appear in dreams.  These may not be the only events in the sleep cycle, but they are most often the ones that are remembered.  The phenomenon is not the dreams themselves that occur, for they are nothing more then what you have created yourself.  The real spectacle is if you have a lucid dream (awake within the dream) and realize that you are in the dream and control it from that point.  That's when the real meaningfull thing occur!

I'm sure, Alpha Omega, many dreams are just as you say, a normal psychological function of the mind with no other signivicance.  I think there are many other dreams, however, that ARE precognitive or glimpses into other realms or possibilities.  I think there is a vast amount we do not understand, and have only touched upon as we sleep.  Would it be bad for me to add that many, many will disagree I'm sure, but just try to consider it? [][]

One of the first dreams I ever had, when I was 3 or 4 years old, was a quick vision of myself as a soldier I think in ancient times.  I had some metal pieces of armour, but was mostly leather.  I had no weapon that i can remember.  I was kneeling to another person, man I think - I don't know if he was a conqurer or commander - but the most striking thing of the dream was an INTENSE sadness that I felt in my very heart.  There was no fear, only the intense sadness and a touch of longing - for what, I do not know.

I have tried and tried to think of how a 3 or 4 year old could possibly collect the experience to have such a dream, and I can think of no direct way at all.

Just one of those mysteries, I suppose.

Alpha Omega, until now there is no well suported theorie for dreams. Even between scientists there is no consense.

Some of them see dreams as random and unuseful neural discharges, but others think that they are important for individuals. Some clinical tests shows that people that "jumps" over dream phases feel tired on the next day. I think that there is some evidence too, showing that some things can be better learned during dreams. Some experiences will be better acquired in that phase.

Besides that there are many cases of people that creates things during dreams: like that scientist (dont know the name) that discovered something related with molecules, during a dream, or the classical musician (dont ask me for names[:I]) that make a music; the poet that created one famous poem,etc,etc.

Dreams, even if they have no paranormal nature, seems to be important to individual as a way to solve problems and conflicts (emotional,etc) and more rare they can be useful to create ideas. It looks like too that people cannot pass without it because they are an important phase of our sleep.


I will not say that dreams are a ramp to obes because thats difficult to proof, or that they can be used for prophecies, but i wil accept that possibilities (until i test them for my self and see if they are true or not).


btw, do you believe in obes? what is your opinion about obes and dreams?

Firstb it was this dream about scientists that found an ancient building of an inteligent civilization (humans maybe). Now, today and without any reason for having it, i dreamt about scientists that found bones of giants humans/aliens (it was not clear).

The giants had 8 meters tall (about 25 feet i think). In what part of the dream they were humans but in the other they were aliens (with a reptlian face). There were bones and evidences of their civilization a little by all over the world (in many places, really many). They were extremely inteligent and it was not clear how they disapeared.

Crazy dreams....

I know that when i was younger (12-15 years ago) i read something about the bones of a giant of 8 meters. Maybe it was that the reason of my dream. I wonder why only now i dream with that.

Just guessing, but maybe the scientist is your guide. This could be an introduction to the guide who has more to show you. You may have a group of guides coming to you!

Guides? What do you mean by guides? Are you refering to astral guides? That would be nice, but i have no idea how to call them (him) or what to ask.

How can i have be shure that these is a guide contacting me? I ask because in my dreams there were not scientists in a clear manner. I just would saw the news in TV or the like and then i knew (or they woukd say in tv) that it was a group of scientists finding that,etc,etc. No image of scientists or whatever.

So, could it really be scientists?

I think the possibility of a guide is interesting too. Spirit influences is another theory about dreams.Guide could be any spirit influence in your dream. As for me, I think I have a healing angel in some of my dreams. This is a mysterious dream person who I haven't been able to identify any other way. The reason I call the person angel is because at the time this is what I identified with him. Healing was brought about because of what this person did what I think he did. I could call him a guide but then I would lose sight of who the other dream characters are. I have another dream character who I call a guide. He is present for other things which I still don't understand.

There is another possibility these characters are self generated. To simplify and catch on to what is happening it's easier to make catagories. This is the way I do it. Why be wondering about it? I like to commit to some ideas and see if it fits in later scenerios.

Astral is a word meaning air to me, a general term. So far I've heard of higher and lower astral, this is a possibility I see. There is also the prospective of inward and outward in regard to location.

Getting something to happen has always worked by prayer for me. I don't think I have to know who the prayer goes to as long as the prayer has an effect.My healing angel has always acted by what seems someone else's direction, not mine. My guide has responded on occasion by direct communication.However, I'm a little fearful of this guide so I don't try to communicate very much.I use to think this being was evil, but not so any more.He works in an occultic manner and I understand this sort of thing more now than earlier in my life.

I think that if you have scientific tendencies a guide would work in a role you understand, or to get your attention. I don't think you have to be concerned with contact matters, this is what a guide does.Being passive would be just as effective, and would seem to be alot less confusing.

Guides from what I've learned don't have to be seen to be present. The scene in your dream may represent the presence (not seen) of your guide. This is just my idea.

That´s a good theory but i believe that what we feel about dreams may give us some clues about its nature. I feel that my dream was trying to tell me something. I dont feel it like a guide showing itself to me. No, i see my dream like a prophetic dream or something different because i dont feel it like a normal dream.

About guides i feel a kind of heavy weight in my life and an emptyness. I think that in part it´s the lack of a guide or protector. Even worst, i think that if negs are real, i may have one (almost certain).

There is only one thing that makes me think that i dont have a Neg: when i have hypnogogic hallucinations i will not hear horrible noises or see evil figures (like many people do...only once i heard strange noises in that state). Instead i will see very usual and normal things like cloths or furniture.

Even so i think i will analyse your theory about guides, maybe i have one. It would be nice to have one.

Yes, thats the nature of my dream. I will not enter into details(dont have patient), but in my dream i saw a new in TV, in wich scientists found, in switerzeland(?) a modern/advanced house (or bulding) that it is much more older than humanity (about 3000000 years age!).

Then i in my dream i start noticing that a little all over the world there were many strange news like this and that news were saying something bigger, something refering to a new age and to the upcoming of somthing strange and mysterious to the world.

Later in my dream an alien appeared to me and he was about to tell me secrets and many other interesting things about that "upcoming" and about aliens.

It was a really strange dream and different from others. Different notonly because what i told but because of the feeling, like if it was an uniqe dream tellig me something, but i think that it was just a dream.
