Is it safe to mention the "N" word in here [:P]

Maybe I'm biased because I can see them when they manifest, or feel them when they hide.  Anyone ever chase one?
There is a physical limitation upon how much light a human body can sustain. Interestingly, there is no limit on how much light a human vessel can generate. When fully enlightened you must instill your light in order to maintain its wisdom.

*hit happens.

And if it's you, it's just as important as anyone elses "thing".

I'm not really understanding you here Boydster.  Could you explain this for me?
Non semper ea sunt quae videntur.

I agree with you that when I place my attention on the topics generally present on PSD, that it focusses my attention on a lower vibration of consciousness than my average state of mind.

However, to a person who truly is besieged with problems and from a relative point of view, the PSD forum might not be a step down. In fact I hope that it's a step up for them because they can gain hope and understanding of what's happening.

Despite the fact that there are some rather shallow topics running here most of the time, there are also some very deep, insightful and helpful threads also. I've probably spent more time here than any other forum. I like to think that some people have benefitted greatly from this forum.

Ah, thank you.  [:)]

Precisely put, and I quite agree.

Strangely enough I understand what Boydster is saying.  I don't mean Boydster is strange [;)]

I mean at some point the questions are irrelavent?  I have realised some things in the last month that make my questions then look silly [:I]  And of course getting the answers then was meaningless, the important part was how I got the answers, my experiences that mattered.

I have also come to realise a few things about myself that have helped greatly.  You can only get so much out of a book, look inward instead...

I think it comes down to context.   Lose the context, and suddenly the wisest words become meaningless...

If a tree branch fell in a forest with no one around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Which explains why I phrase my answers in the context of the questioner.  Telling them what they need to hear at the time?  Or what I think they can take?  Hmmmm, something to reflect on or stay with first impressions...

And yes it makes a sound, just AP back and listen [:)]

Yes, exactly!   'A tree branch falling' is an incomplete action without an experiencer of that tree branch falling.

It is as necessary as the tree, the branch, and the fall - even if the experiencer is that branch.

My view of this adage as to whether the sound is heard if no one is present in that the 'sound' is a process of the ear/brain therefore if no one present to hear (process the airborne vibrations) then no sound.
But the adage would seem to rule out the value of such an event being heard by non human ears, they obviously don't count for this adage :)

But I guess being an adage it means all things to all men, women and spirits :)
