Increased deja-vu activity

That is the funny thing, people seem to get fate and destiny mixed up.  Fate is really the events that will lead up to destiny, it doesn't matter what path you choice as they will still have the same result in general at the end, but little things will be different when chosing a different path.

I would say that this is strange, most people don't seem to have alot of deja-vu and alot of times just brush it off, but you being able to recall exactly everything and it being as detailed as you make it.  Well I would have to say that maybe Fate herself is trying to give you a sign to pay more attention to your dreams and what they really mean, she doesn't really care what path you take in life, but she will try to help you along the best path if you cooperate, that is why I just take things as they come and go with my gut on things.

Best of luck with trying to fiqure everything out.

Aileron,
I like Van-Stolin's explaination. I personally don't experience what is described as deja-vu. I experience a lot of sychroncity. Could it be that if you don't pick up a lesson the first time, or second time, it's presented to you again? I don't understand the deja-vu in the place of dreams either.I usually hear about it during a person's waking time. I wonder if it doesn't have something to do with chakra or energy activity, specifically, the solar plexus.

Are you sure it's not synchroncity? You didn't really describe the feel you get with this. Syncronicity is when you can see how things fall together, an explaination of things as it happens. If things repeat as deja-vu suggests, why? I have things repeat in waking time. It's usually related to my attitude on something.

Logic

About 50% of the things I dream, happen to me during the day that I've dreamed them.

Some of my Deja-Vu's are from years ago, others months.  Never a few weeks or less.  I find it interesting that I can indeed remember that specific dream and when I had it?  but then it wasn't a standard dream now was it [;)]

As I said I'm not sure I would call it deja-vu. I only do so because its a reoccuring experience to me being that I dream it, then I live it.
I don't know if I would call it synchronicity either though, but I have considered the possibility that it is perhaps a signpost to be paying attention better. After the "deja-vu" has gone or finished, I have an incredible feeling of clarity and calm that washes over me. I tend not to think about those feelings too hard, but for some reason I really enjoy the feeling, as though something is happening that shouldnt be or is a greater thing than conventional awareness of the world. I am usually completely aware afterwards and in fact become thoughtful on an almost existentialist plain.
During the occurance though, as I said I feel almost lost in a trance like state. There is always a part of me that knows this is happening and realizes that I am playing out a dream in waking life and I attempt to break away from the method of action within but then realize that whatever I have done in the dream, I do in waking life. Quite a paradox really. I would say its frustrating, but I really enjoy it.
The length of time between has ranged.
The very first I actually remember vividly and has been basically the jumping point of these occurances. When I was around the age of six I had a dream, very vivid and clear to me. It didnt even connect that I had this dream though until years later when I was about nine or ten and the dream became the waking moment. I felt it and it was different than anything I had felt. Being that young as well confused me.
After that, as I said, they ranged. Ive had dreams play out in waking life from the next day to even years later.
The event though has been more frequent and I will take the advice and attempt to focus even more so on the surrounding environments and moments in my life.
Ill reflect more. What else I can do is up in the air, except to wait if it means anything.

thank you though, all of you.

Aileron,
This is a very interesting description of your experience. It does sound like synchronicity. It seems you may be experiencing some spirit and energy power. Thanks for explaining more.

Is this before or after you dream?

Rastus,
I have dreams when I can remember the most minor detail of a place or time. I guess I've always thought of it as a keen memory. Could this be what you are calling Deja-Vu? I recall real life events. I don't have instant dream recall. I guess I'm still wondering about what Deja-Vu has to do with dreams?

Rastus

I think Deja-Vu's are you realizing that you AP'd and didn't have a regular dream.  I have "known" things I couldn't possibly know.  Like going to town I've never been to (not hard in the USA) and knowing things I could have only known by being there before.  Or my personal favorite, having the event trigger, then kowing with ultimate certainty what's going to happen next, and watching it happen.

I have noticed, in hindsight, that I have more Deja-Vu's when I'm in an altered state before the event.  The most common is having little sleep, and my mind is wondering.  More correctly my mind is like a beacon to AP into.

Hmmmm, this is something that can be tested.  Meditate beacon like at lunch, then in the evenings, try and AP into the future.  The downside is 1 day of work is pretty much like the other, not a lot of variety for me?  This is better suited for someone that travels as part of work.

Rastus,
Interesting info. I'll have to think on this. This is something new to me. Thanks. [:)]

Hhmmz

When I have a Deja-Vu I'm remembering a dream.
I just get a bit stiff, have my eyes and ears wide open and this observe what is hapening (get in a short sort of trance) and with every little happening I get the feeling I have seen this before exactly the same. but I can't predict what will happen the next 5 seconds like Rastus.
Or am I understanding you incorrectly...?

I had a deja-vu a couple of days ago, I was signing a paper and my mother was talking about how hard it was for her to walk becuase of her foot, I froze, I realise in that instant that I had had a dream about this the other night, I didn't really think about it until it happened and I even said what my mom was going to say next, she freaked.

Amerie

Hi guys, first post here so bear with me :-)

I get an awful lot of dejavu feelings, at one point a couple of months ago I was getting it every day, always in the same spot at the same time.

I'd be driving into work about 7:15am, and as I get out onto the country roads I could feel like a buzzing in my head, and I knew exactly what song would be on the radio next, what the DJ would say, what car I would pass coming the other way.  Only lasts about 2 minutes each time but I get it very regularly.  I tend to feel disconnected  from everything when it happens, I'm in complete control (which is a good thing when driving!), but it feels like I'm watching whats going on from a 3rd person perspective.

Very strange.

Aileron

Interesting. Im glad to know and hear about others experiences. I wonder if this might just increase more and more for many of us.

I think I might start noting each occurances in a log or something.
Citing the date, time and what it was that happened. Maybe it'll be easier to read into the meanings doing this. It seems to work with dreaming, so why not waking dreams/deja-vu's and the like?

Aileron,
Yes, discussion does help to progress along.

Yes, this is interesting to do. I've done it before. I'm thinking about doing it again.

Amerie,
Although I don't understans deja-vu fully, I do recognize altered states of consciousness. [:)] Is there anything about this area you mention that stands out? Do you have anymore insights into your experience?

After.

Deja-vu HAS increased in my life very much. I have deja-vu no more than 4 or 5 times a day, mostly 2 times a day on average. I always wonder what it means. I always hear "its because you've dreamt about it or you've been there before". But What about the realistic feeling that you get at the moment? I feel so alive and like i have been plugged into life for those few seconds, I feel like my eyes have opened up for a slight moment and i dont want it to go away, but it does anyway. its a mystery thats for sure. and Alerion i think its a good idea to start writing down when and where the deja-vu happens.

Aileron

if you want to call it that.

More recently I have been having my deja-vu occur more steadily. For me deja-vu is the dreams I have of any random event that I live through in the future.
Usually it is just general things like being somewhere specifically, listening to either someone or something, and/or doing something.
When these events occur, it hits me as though a trance. I fall into the uniform action of what I did in the dream and will recall the entirety of the dream as I play it out. This has been a constant for me my entire life, even since I was a very small child. Lately though it has been happening so much I am questioning as to the substance and meaning behind it.

I have been told once that deja-vu's, or living out the dream, means that you are following your path, your fate more accordingly.
If that is true what does it mean when it happens more frequently? Perhaps that I am coming to the apex of my fate, or that I am coming to that crossroads where I will be deciding whether or not to step away from the road I am supposed to travel.
Any thoughts?
