There is a place near me which sold the flower essences of that system, but they could not make money on them and stopped carrying them. Do you have any thoughts on what it really is and how it works? It sounds like a set of unusually cheap perfumes with unusually high prices.

I received a mix from my hypnotherapist.  They are not a perfum.  It is an oral "medicine" for the energy body.  At least that is what she said.  They are sapposed to help balance out you energy body and help with various other problems.  There are sappose to be various minerals in the extracts that help tune your energy body, lesson dependancies, and a slew of other aplications.  The mix she gave me is as follows.

Connecting With Purpose
Being and Doing
Honoring Bounderies
Harmonizing
Deposession

The only one that puzzled her was the Being and Doing which is sapposed to help rectify dependancies.  But it is odd how they are picked.  The person making the mix for you has you hold out your arm and then hands you several different bottles.  Each time you are to say "There is something in this that I need."  and then the person making the mix pushes down on your arm to determin the yes or no answer.  I was kinda wierded out by it.

I don't know what to think of it but I am going to give it a shot any how.  It did not cost me any extra so why not?

They were discovered by the Bach guy quite a few years back and work on the energy level-usually flowers are floated in water and the healing essence   of that plant is extracted. I guess you would have to have an intuition for which one would benefit you or trust in the person who recommends them. There is a company near where I live that has been preparing them for 20 years and probably has a websitewhere you could get more info-they are called Flower Essence Society or FES for short.

While I acknowledge the long-term effectiveness of many herbs, and acknowledge the healing power of scent, for me the jury-is-out on many "alternative" forms of medicine.  Being a kjtchen-witch, this attitide seems kind of heretical, but I don't care . . . as a woman with serious health concerns I am very concerned with the efficacy of certain treatments and can't waste  time with "natural" remedies that simply DO NOT WORK.

However, I have friends and family members who swear by Bach Flower Remedies ("rescue remedy"  is wildly popular) . . . so who knows?  After all, once upon a time hypnosis and chiropractic were poo-poo'ed by the medical establishment, and now, finally, they are accepted as medical art forms that actually work.

If the Bach remedies smell good, they may have a psychological affect that connects directly to the healing process.

Flowers definitely have magical properties . . . but they will work for you ONLY if you embark on a serious relationship with the plants you want to use.  Yeah, I mean you need to TALK to the (living) plant, take good care of it, and ask it to help you!  Then, after you cut the plant, leave it a gift (compost is good).  This method I can attest to from personal experience.

I wonder, however, if many medicines (many kinds) work on "the Placebo effect."  Meaning, that little sniff of flower essence, or a shot of herb, or a little white pill, could be props to encourage your mind to "click" and heal itself.  Don't knock the placebo affect!  If it works, it WORKS!

My bottom line is that the LEAST EXPENSIVE therapy that WORKS is the one to embrace.  Give the flower remedies a chance if they don't break the bank for you. And LISTEN to what your body is saying!  If you listen, you find that your body will talk your ear off http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

Rescue remedy has worked well for me... but it might just be a placebo kinda thing...

David,
The process she used to "test" the "Flower Power Juice" is called Muscle Testing, also known as Energy Testing.

The way this works, is that you place said substance (call it X) into your energy field ... holding it in your hand is common.  If substance X is "bad" for you (it might be "good" for someone else), your energy field will immediately be affected, causing you to lose muscle strength, thus her ability to push your arm down.  If substance X is "good" for you, you'll retain your energy field & muscle strength, thus her being unable to push your arm down easily.

As a side note, if your energy field is already "scrammbled", then it is best to UNSCRAMMBLE it first, before testing.  See below for details on this.

If you want to learn more about this, buy Donna Eden's book "Energy Medicine" or if you're more VISUAL, get her $20 video "An Introduction to Energy Healing" ... http://www.innersource.net

P.S.  Donna has been able to NATURALLY see energy fields and non-physical beings/entities from childhood

P.S.S.  Your local library might have the book ... mine did!

P.S.S.S.  Your thoughts and thoughts of others can IMMEDIATELY affect your energy field as well.  If you're thinking NEGATIVE thoughts while being tested, you'll test weak ... Donna covers this in her book/video(s).

Cheers!
Greg Taylor :)

Hi David,

I'd be interested in knowing how you go with the Bach Flower mixes.

I'm kind of the same opinion as Tisha here.
I'm reasonably well versed in aromatherapy, that is I know about 4% of what I probably could know about it, as well as a tiny smattering of herb lore. These are things that I know work, but I'm a little unsure of the subtle-energy based potions. I spent a bit of time being a lab rat for a friend who was developing gem elixyrs. Some had a tangeable though very short term effect, while most just completely fell flat on me.

There is no doubt that there is magic in flowers, and that certain types picked at certain times do posess a potency that can work on our energy bodies. I'm still undecided though as to wether its a case of they work well on some but not others, or if they just help you to decide that you are going to get better.

I can't attribute anything to them right now.  Well except that the mix is making my smokes tast funny at times.  But other than that.

I think the main problem is because I am doing a couple of different things that can cause the various effects that have happened over the last week.  So I can't pin it down on just one thing.

Has any one heard of this Bach Flower system?  Is it any good?  Does it seem to work?  Or is it just a bunch of hoopla?
