I haven't read it, but it sound pretty fishy to me.
You have to know to separate the "kukes" from the real mystics. I can't picture RV saying something  like that...

I think Zolar's genuine enough, I think he's well respected in the occult field.

Do you know how he came up with these ideas? Are they founded on anything or just something he came up with one day?

Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

Gandalf

Well, from what I read of him/his work, he is or was one of the most respected astrologers and occultists in the US during the 20th Century.
He is well up on Kabalistic lore so I assume his nature of evil theory is based on or extrapilated from Kabalistic ideas.

I saw an edition of that book from the 1910's. Maybe the orb's moved away by now?

I'm reminded of the psionic satellite technique, in which a thougthform, a sort of astral "watcher" is given a vibe/pattern to broadcast.

A real Kabbalist (spelling somewhat irrellevant) would try to transmute the demonically-influenced energy pattern out of existence. As they were very secretive (meditiation on the finding of truth was said to cause illumination), the true practtioner could not be found guilty of such fear-mongering. He tells you there is a hitherto-unkown bogeyman, and there's nothing you can do about it. Such ruminations could come straight out of the mouth of a taunting demon!

Furthermore, I'm much more interested in my idea of dream iinterpretation than his. One at his level of mentality has referenced ridiculously extensive almanacs of superstition. Clearly, most are lost to the fact that they sound so silly, because they were encoded - almost. Having lost the gestalt of the overall picutures, he is directing you against your own personal experiences that made the dream symbolism relevant in the first place. If I was to give advice here, I would say to simply to remember all the instances in which the the objects of the dream actually occured in your life. A pattern will emerge without anyone else's mediation.

Has anyone read any of Zolar's books? This american astrologer and occultist has written much. In one of his books, 'The encyclopedia of Ancient and fordidden Knowelege' which contains many occult/kaballistic concepts,
he talks about the nature of evil. He says that there is an astral realm known as 'The Dark Satellite' which has been slowly gaining an influence over the the earth. Apparantly this realm contains entire races of negative beings who'se values are completely inverse to our own. They maintain power over the earth by formulating many negative influences such as hate, dellusion, etc and 'inject' them into the human sphere, this perpetuates negativity on earth and allows the Dark Sattelite to maintain its control. Zolar further states that this sphere is slowly receding and its influence will lessen over time as it moves away from the earth.

He reckons that the Dark Sattelite beings are masters of delusion and cunning and use this to full effect. Zolar believes that there was a concerted effort to destroy eastern spiritualism which contains many true concepts such as karma and reincarnation but that this atempt failed and these ideas have spread to the west. The Dark Satellite would rather that mainstream religions with all their delusions, intollerances and halve-truths were the norm.

Has anyone else read any of Zolars stuff?
I dont know what to make of this 'Dark Sattelite' theory, I have never heard of it before but as Zolar is a student of the Kabbalah, is this a common kabalistic notion? If not, does anyone know where Zolar got this info?
I wonder what he's up to these days anyway, I dont think he's writenmuch for a while.

Douglas
