i'm not sure i full understand what you are describing. if you could give a more detailed description it may give me more insight. you could be on the verge of a WILD. which would be someting that some people on here would love to hear more about, especially in the dreaming forum. they are very hard to be able to induce. i've tried various times w/ no success.

it's interesting how you snap bacck to consciousness when you move your eyes though. they are supposed to be able to move w/out disturbing any states  at all. i believe it's those and the muscles to keep you breathing that are supposed to be able to move freely, whether we're dreaming or not, or in any altered state, w/out disrupting what's going on.

It feels like a fantasy but you are sucked into it, it's the best way I can describe it.

WILD = Wake Induced Lucid Dream

I believe the term was coined by Stephen Laberge. Effectively, you bypass the traditional system of falling asleep, recognizing the dream state, and then takking control of the dream.  There has recently been testing done at the lucidity institute at Stanford regarding the differences, if any, between astral projections and "WILD's." Although I have been lucid dreaming for several years and recently into projection (successful about 9 times) I have never had what I would classify as a WILD.  Having experienced both sides of the coin it sounds to me as though it were a projection where someone has entered the 'Alice in Wonderland' state, and believes they are in control.
However, that's merely conjecture.

Good Luck,

Hi everybody,
One thing makes me crazy. OVer the past weeks when I have been deeply relaxed, pictures start flashing like before sleep. The difference between these moments and normal sleepy ones is that I seem to be in the situation. It feels really like I see with my eyes, hear with my own ears, realtime - like I was there.
But the instance I move my eyes I feel like my consciousness rushes back into normal imagination (like that before sleep). This disturbs me.
I feel like this is a important opening and would really need help to attain and deepen these states.

Thank you all for aid
