There is the "active topics" feature which allows you to click a link which will take you directly to the thread with the new posts. I'm not sure if you're aware of that but you can clearly see links to it  both at the top and bottom of the forum index. Hope that helps.

Yeah it would be useful to somehow highlight new replies (since your last visit) to a topic, and to be automatically taken to the new replies (when you click on the topic, that is)

jimu, I don't think Mash wanted to know where to find the active topics!

Thanks for that piece of info.  But as Xehupatl mentioned, I already knew about that.  Although the "Active Topics" feature is something I use, once I'm in that section, it would be nice to read the last read post from my previous visit.

I'm mainly mentioning this for two reasons:

1) If it already exists, someone could show me how to use it
2) If it doesn't exist, if there's a way to configure this board with an add-on feature to do it.

I know this is an ASP board, so I don't know if it has this functionality, but my PHP board I run on my site has the ability for a user to click a link which takes you to the last post read.

For example....if there is a thread with 10 replies, and you've read the first three, by clicking on this link, it will take you to post number four in the thread.  This is a very useful feature on my board, and it saves the user from starting at the beginning of the thread and skimming for the last post read.  Does that make sense?

Anyway, I'm asking because I haven't seen a feature like this here, and if there is one, I'd like to use it.
