I can't comment on the files you looked at, the pictures and videos.

Learning to see auras will help you to see the energy between your hands when using energy. It takes time, both to be able to put more energy between your hands and to learn to see it. Systems like reiki can help you to save time, but it is better to find someone to teach you in person when possible. Even when you can get lessons at a distance over the internet it is still best to follow them by learning in person. NEW is another matter. You can find it on the web (http://www.astraldynamics.com) and in the book "Astral Dynamics". There are also many threads in the forums here dealing with aspects of NEW. Some threads about reiki, too.

Thanks for such a fast and helpful reply![] What do you mean you can't comment, because of critizism? I'm pretty sure I can't get lessons where I live. Plus I don't have enough money now. Is that ok?

My hope is that there really is something to see in the pictures and videos, but I just don't know what it is.

There will probably be time, money, and opportunity later in any case. Reiki is helpful but far from necessary. Actually, after doing NEW for a while you would be able to read about reiki from books and web sites and teach yourself.

The post by James (auraseer) has had many debates over this time. some people say the blue is actually energy, others say he photoshopped it.  the debate is still raging on, and that is like the longest topic ever.

It's ok if you didn't really see anything.  James sends me all his vids before he puts them on his site, and i examine them for flaws.  I never find any, but then again, there isnt this huge bright red sphere sitting on his hands!

Well, since I haven't been able to find a mesage board as good and sctive as this one, I have some what of alot of questions. I'll ask some here if you guys don't mind helping. Most of my questions have something to do with the fundimentals. What other good excercices are there besides making a ki ball? I can make a pretty big size ki ball in about a minute, and I'm pretty sure I'm doing it right.I can't see it though. I can see auras(the clear,blue, or red outlines for me) pretty good except it takes me awhile in artificial light cause it flickers. I don't know how to do a ki flame or levitate or anything else. So my main question is; What level am I at? What exercices should I do? How do I do some of the techniques and stuff? Where do I go from here? Once again, thanks for taking your time and reading and helping me get started. Please excuse my spelling! Oh, and I think my ki ball leaks lol! Whoops, forgot to ask. What's with the people and them powering up and knocking out the power in the house? How they do that?

Derk - Don't believe everything you read. Obviously, no one here can prove anything (not over the Internet) but there are still sources that ar more credible than others. A lot of people post random junk on here like "I powered up and blew a wall out of my house with a Ki blast." There's soooooooooo much info here; take a minute and read some of the old threads. Not onyl will it give you an idea about the REAL business of energy, but it will probably give you some good ideas about where to take your training next.

"Neg" is an abbreviation for a negative spirit thingy. There's a bajillion threads abotu them in Psychic Defense.

Hey Derk!

Welcome to the boards!  

Its good to see another new member (besides me).  Last 4 months I've been posting to 3-4 different boards on this subject trying to find honest, good, informative people and an active board.  This is the only board I ever check on this subject now.  Its great and has some very kind people here.  

As far as Ki and energy/auras go I can create Ki balls but still can't see them, but I can feel them.  I can project easy but am still very clumsy and unexperienced.  

Just go at your own pace and learn what you can.  Patience is the key, if at first you don't get something ask someone if your doing it correctly and stick to it.

P.S.  On the neg beings thing, I've never seen anything personally so I really can't say.  Alot of people say alot of different things from you create what you see yourself to some aren't strong enough to see whats really there.  But don't let fear stand in your way of anything.  IMHO

Hi guys! I am new to this kinda. I know what some of the stuff is and some excercices. I can do a ki ball and can feel that pressure force but I can't see anything. That is the only thing I can do. On that Ki Ball post, I looked at it but I can't see anything except some guys head and arms. Is there something wrong with me? Where do I go from here? Thanks.
