better?.. There is alot to learn about OOBE (AP is the same thing)
I would start there. So, try this link and give it a look and see what cha think.[] From my experience I have found that the psychic abilities and self-knowledge has seemed to just "fall" into place after I started OBing. Of course that doesn't mean you don't read up on it.  Just don't want to overload ya..lol..

Anyways, I suggest Astral Dynamics by Robert Bruce(owner of this site ) because his book is the least confusing out of all that I have read. Monroe and a few other authors just seem to complicate it much more than it already is. Read it and practice is my best advice.

Welcome to the Astral Pulse! You don't need to buy Astral Dynamics to read what Robert Bruce had to say about OBE. The book is great. I prefer the book. Someday you way want to try and get a copy. In the meantime you can read and download Robert Bruce's Treatise on OBE at his website:

There is also a lot of great information here from the members as posted above. Also, take a look at what we call "Stickies". These are topics, many of which are contained in the Astral Conciousness forum, that have been made to stay in place for a while. This is because they have been viewed as having a recurring beneficial value for the members.

Finally, you can also utilize the features of the search and advanced search links above. Just type in some key words and you will find previous topics containing the subject matter you inquired about.

After fiddling with the new system for a week or so, I started to recall dream s a LOT more often, and glancing at my hands helped me lucid dream a few times. My first concious OBE was awakened by a hand glance on saturday of my first week. My first concious INDUCED OBE was about 2 days later, and lasted for about 5 seconds before I collapsed from lack of energy.

I'm a more or less newbie to obe, esotericism etc...
I'm totally confused. There are so many things to learn, so many books, opinions, courses, articles and i'm totally lost! I could really use some help from somebody who's more experienced.
For example, there's obe, ap, seeing auras, psychic abilities, self-knoweledge etc and i don't know what to study first, and where to study it from...
Please HELP!!!!!!
