Tetragrammatron ?

The Tetragrammaton is the four (hence tetra) ancient Hebrew letters representing the ineffable name of God which can never be spoken:

IHVH Pronounced Yod-Heh-Vahv-Heh

Other God names used in rituals such as the LBRP are actually abbreviations as well, for example "AGLA" is "Ateh Gibor le-Olahm Adonai" which translated is "Thou art Mighty Forever O' Lord".

The Tetragrammaton either as a symbol or pronounced as letters is very powerful when used in rituals. Due to its association with God, The All, the elements and Magic in general, the Tetragrammaton has the highest importance.

Thank you for your reply. Can you recommend a book that would have more information about this? The pentacle that I have has several symbols engraved in it as well.I assume that the elements in some pentacles vary, so I was wondering if you could recommend a book or another way to find more information.

I have been trying to find a book or web site that could explain the meaning of Tetragrammatron encrypted in a pentacle. If anyone knows a little a bout the topic please share! Thank you.
