Abjuration - a school of magick that deals with spells used for protection, blocking, or banishing; and Abjuration spelcialist is called an Abjurer



Astral Body - a creation sometimes made in four dimensions by the soul to make itself feel more comfortable interacting; an astral body usually takes a familiar shape, such as a human body



Astral Plane - [See Psionic Plane]



Astral Projection (physical) - the ability to physcially be in two places at once; next level of development for the power of Telekinesis



Astral Projection (mental) - a mental state in which the mind interprets psychic inputs as a realistic surrounding, and in which telepathy and psychokinesis can affect the perceived surroundings



Astral Projector - a person who has the ability of astral projection, either physical or mental



Bard - a person who uses music and natural talens (normally empathy) to produce magickal effects



Bardic - of or pertaining to the skills of a bard



Bardic Magick - the magickal or supernatural effects produced by a bard using music and natural talents in combination



Clairaudience - the ability to hear voices that convey useful information (not schizophrenia); the psychic faculty that corresponds with the physical sense of hearing



Clairempathy - the ability to sense the emotional and physical condition of others from a distance (see also Empathy and Telempathy)



Clairgustance - psychic faculty that corresponds with the physical sense of taste



Clairolfactance - psychic faculty that corresponds with the physical sense of smell



Clairsentience - psychic faculty for sensing energy and conditions pertaining to communicating entities; the ability to read auras



Clairsentience - a psionic discipline dealing with psionic abilities that reveal information; a psion whose primary discipline is Clairsentience is called a Seer



Clairtangency - psychic faculty that corresponds with the physical sense of touch



Clairvoyance - psychic faculty that corresponds with the physical sense of sight

- Dream Clairvoyance- clairvoyant images received in or during dreaming

- Objective Clairvoyance - the ability to "see" people, events, that are taking place on spiritual planes or alternate dimensions

- Reciprocal Clairvoyance - during telepathic contact over great distances the parties involved can see each other as if face to face

- Subjective Clairvoyance - the reception of images by communicating entities while the subject is in a trance

- Telepathic Clairvoyance - the reception of a visual image from a telepathic sender

- Traveling Clairvoyance - the ability to see events taking place some distance away

- X-ray Clairvoyance - the ability to "see" through solid objects



The Power of Cloning - the magickal ability to duplicate oneself for a short period of time and be able to control both bodies simultaneously



Conjuration - a school of magick that deals with spells designed to bring creatures or materials to the caster; a Conjuration specialist is called a Conjurer



Darklighter - an evil being similar to a Whitelight but the exact opposite; Darklighters are often sent after a witches Whitelighter and ordered to kill him/her so that they can get to the witch and take his/her powers and use them for the forces of darkness



The Power of Deflection - the magickal ability to be able to deflect objects and spells



Demon - a spirit or being from the underworld who possesses assorted powers and skills in magick or psionics, usually sent after good witches and warlocks to try to kill them or stop them from doing good deeds



Demonic - of or pertaining to the abilities and powers possessed by demons



Divination - a school of magick the deals with spells designed to reveal information; a Divination specialist is called a Diviner: also the use of clairvoyant or prescient skills to forsee events in the future



Diviner - a person who can see the future either through the use of magickal means or through psionic abilities



Dreamscape - the Dream Dimension; a realm in which the use of psionic and magickal abilities can be used to influence the dreams of the collective world



Druid - a person who has access to divine spells and magicks who can communicate with nature, possesses the power to heal, and draws his or her strength from their natural environment



Druidic - of or pertaining to the abilities and skills of a druid



Druidic Magick - magickal skills and powers that come from nature, to manipulate and control natural forces through the power of one's will; magick often inspired by divine presences



Ectoplasm - the luminous substance supposed to emanate from a medium in a trance; substance manifested on the psionic plane to form weaponry or astral bodies



Elemental - a person or spirit who has complete control over one of the four natural elements or earth, fire, air, or water



Elemental Magick - magick used to manipulate the elements the comprise the universe (earth, air, fire, water, and spirit)



Elemental Manipulation - the ability to control and utilize the four classic elements of earth, fire, wind, and water to create earthquakes, gale force winds, tidal waves, and other natural occurrences



Empath - and individual who can literally feel what other people feel; empaths can sense the very emotions humans emit. Some can use this power to hela, yet most use it to counsel others as teachers, doctors, counselors, elders, etc. in society



Empathic - having to do with empaths or empathy



Empathic Healer - a person who has the power of empathy and can utilize this power to cure the wounds and diseases of other people



Empathic Healing - the use of empathic energies and empathic power to cure the wounds or diseases of others through physical touch or by empathic transference of the disease(s) or wound(s) to his or her body



Empathic Link - a mental link between the minds of two people or a sorcerer and his familiar set up using empathic abilities through which the linked parties can communicate telepathically with one another



Empathic Metamorph - a shapeshifter who possesses the power of empathy and uses that ability to sense the desires of a prospective mate and becomes the embodiment of those desires to please his or her mate



Empathize - to experience empathy



Empathy - the telepathic perception of emotions; the ability to be able to feel the emotions, pains, and states of mind of other people



Enchantment - a school of magick that deals with spells designed to imbue the recipient with some property or grant the caster power over another being; and Enchantment specialist is called and Enchanter



Esper- Generic name for any person with ESP or Psi abilities



Evocation - a school of magick that deals with spells designed to manipulate energy or create something from nothing; an Evocation specialist is called and Evoker



Extrasensory Perception (ESP) - perception without the use of the five senses



Extratemporal Perception: the ability to perceive events that take place outside our normal space/time continuum or in the time vortex



Illusion - a school of magick that deals with spells designed to alter perception or create false images; an Illusion specialist is called and Illusionist: also an image that looks real to the eye but isn't really there at all



Intuition - the power of knowing immediately without an effort of the mind



Latent Telepath - someone who has telepathic abilities but who is not aware of them or can consciously use them.



Lycanthrope - a person who has the ability to change into a were-beast; such examples are weretigers, werewolves, werehawks, etc.: Some lycanthropes are born but most are the result of being bitten by another lycanthrope. Lycanthropes can use empathic abilities to communicate with other animals of their kind, depending on what they transform into.  



Lycanthropic Empathy - the ability to empathically communicate with other animals of a lycanthropes type and to be able to telepathically communicate with close friends while in lycanthropic form



Lycanthropy - a disease of sorts that is spread through a bite that changes the infected person into a werebeast or lycanthrope



Magnetism - the ability to control, manipulate, and direct all forces that are, or are related to, magnetism in any way such as electromagnetic energy, electricity, and the earth's magnetic and electromagnetic fields and to be able to draw power from the earth's magnetic field



Mental Projection - the ability to project one's mind any distance while keeping the integrity between mind and physical body



Mental Shielding - the use of psychic abilities to blcok other psychic effects or perceptions



Metacreativity - a psionic discipline that deals with psionic abilities that draw matter from the Astral Plane, creating semisolid and solid items; a psion whose primary discipline is Metacrativity is called a Shaper



Metamind - one of the Prestige Classes; a psion who is concerned merely with the power of his own mind, who develops every psionic ability to its fullest potential



Namapathy - true psychic healing



Necromancy - a shool of magick that deals with spells desgned to manipulate, create, or destroy life or life force; a Necromancy speicalist is called a Necromancer



Nexus Point - the psionic equivalent of a soul apparent in all beings on the psi-plane that is a point of pure thought that defines psionic existence and must be protected at all times



Nomad - a person with the ability of psychoportation



Oracle - the medium through which a god revelas his purpose; a person regarded as an infallibly wise prophet or adviser



Orbing - the ability to transport oneself from one place to another, usually by disappearing in a flash of brilliant light and reappearing in the same; this ability is usually only possessed by Whitelighters, but some children of Whitelighter/Witch mixes also possess this ability



Out-of-Body Experience (OOBE) - a state in which the center of being is located outside of the body, all perception is viewed from outside of the body, and effects can be caused without the use of the physical body



Parapsychology - the study of psychic abilities



The Power of Premonition - one of the three powers the comprises the "Power of Three"; the ability to psionically view an event, involving a certain person, that has not yet occurred either through physical contact with an object belonging to that person or a sudden flash of psionic images through the psions mind about the person: These visions don't necessarily have to be of the future, nor do they have to be visions. They can be feelings or exact thoughts.  



Precognizance (PC) - perceiving a future event without prior knowledge of its occurence (See-premonition)



-Multiple-Future Precognition - The ability to see not only the future but also a number of probable future events presented "side-by-side" like the pages in a book; the most probable future will be the one most prominently outlined



-Precognitive Telepathy - the ability to telepathically "read" thoughts that have yet to have been generated



Premonition - psionically viewing an event, involving a certain person, that has not yet occurred either through physical contact with an object belonging to that person or a sudden flash of psionic images through the psions mind about the person



Prescience - foreknowledge or an instance of foreknowledge



Prescient - having or a person who has prescient visions



Psi - related to parapsychological psychic events or powers



Psion (Psi) - an individual gifted with any number and or variety of telepathic, psychokinetic, or empathic powers



Psionic - related to being or possessing the abilities of a psion



Psionic Blade - a semisolid blade of shimmering psychic energy capable of being thrown at a target or used to stun or even kill an opponent



Psionic Plane - the metaphysical relam, accessible only through those gifted with telepathy, where astral forms are buffeted by the winds of a world's combined thoughts, where will power sna imagination are the ultimate tools, and where a stray thought can kill



Psionic Prestige Class - a higher level, more advanced class of psion



Psionic Vampire - an individual that possesses psionic abilities and used those abilities to take energy from another living being by either use of physical touch with the hand or by biting in the way of the traditional vampire. Some are even capable of taking their victims souls just so that they can stay alive.  



Psyche - the soul, self, spirit, or mind



Psychic (psi) - pertaining to mental abilities which interact with the physical world without use of the five senses of the physical body; one who is capable of such actions



Psycho-Blast - a powerful burst of psychic energy that fires every synapse in the brain at once causing any number of things such as, paralysis, coma, or even death



Psychokinesis - a psionic discipline that deals with psionic abilities that manipulate and transform physical porperties; a psion who primary discipline is Psychokinesis is called a Savant



Psychokinesis (PK) - the use of psychic abilities to affect physical matter and energy [See Telekinesis]

Macro PK - psychokinesis which causes directly observable results

Micro PK - psychokinesis which causes results only observable through statistical analysis



Psychokinetic - one capable of producing or using psychokinesis [See Telekinetic]



Psycholuminescence - the ability to produce cold light by a psi-to-light conversion process; such light is sometimes called "witch light"



Psychometabolism - a psionic discipline that deals with psionic abilities that aler the psion's own physiobiology; a psion whose primary discipline is Psychometabolism is called an Egoist



Psychometrist - one capable of using or one who practices psychometry



Psychometry - the ability to use physical contact with an object to receive past, present, or future impressions, images, or feelings relating to the object or an owner of the object



psychoportation - a psionic discipline that deals with psionic abilities that propel or displace objects in space or time; a psion whose primary discipline is Psychoportation is called a Nomad



Psychoportation - the ability to propel or displace objects in space and time

Pyrokinesis - the ability to hear or chill objects by the power of one's mind, project blasts of either fire or ice, create shields of fire or ice, and utilize either a fire form or an ice form to travel through the air at will by either defying gravity or creating a slide of ice



Pyrokineticist - one of the Prestige Classes; a psion who has discovered that a little psionic power goes a long way, who can control and manipulate fire into whatever he or she desires, project blasts of fire and even transform into fire elementals if they are powerful enough



Retrocognizance (RC) - perceiving a past event without prior knwoledge of its occurence



Retrocognitive Telepathy - the ability to read thoughts generated in the past



Savant - (See Psychokinetic)



Scanner- Slang name for a person with a wide range of strong psi abilities



Seer- Generic term for someone with the gift(s) of prophecy (precognition), clairvoyance, and extra temporal perception



Sixth Sense - a keen intuitive power that is independent of the five senses



Shadow Magick - the ability to manipulate shadows to do whatever is desired by the person with this ability; Shadow Magick can be used to simulate any of the normal psionic and magickal effects as well as Shadow Teleportation and other such Shadow powers



Shadow Realm - a realm in which all magickal and psionic effects take the form of their darker counterparts and are extremely powerful; the Shadow Plane



Shadow Teleportation - the ability to step into the shadows of any area and to immerge out of another shadow in a completely different place; Shadow Teleportation takes the teleporter through the Shadow Realm



Shapeshifter - a person with the ability to assume the shape of animals plants, other people, etc. through magickal, psionic, or other supernatural means



Shapeshifting - the power to assume various forms that are not original to the person possessing this power; forms can be animals, plants, other people, energy fields, etc.: this ability is usually the result of a magickal ability, psionic ability, or inherent quality within the individual who possesses this ability

Snooper- Slang name for a person with well-defined clairvoyance or any general sense of perception; a seer



Soul - an object existing in four spatial dimensions which houses the personality; all psychic abilities are a function of the soul



Soulknife - on of the Prestige Classes; a psion who recognizes that his own mind is the most beautiful and the most deadly thing in all creation: soulknives can focus their psionic power into a semisolid blade of shimmering psychic energy



Soulthief - a type of demon who possesses extremely formidable psionic powers and is capable of usiong those psionic powers to take their victims soul from their body



Storm Control - the ability to convert the planetary magnetic field into high tension electricity or lightning, and; the ability to influence those factors that create [electrical] storms



Teek- Slang name for a person with telekinetic abilities



Teep- Slang name for a person with telepathic abilities; a telepath



Telekinesis (TK) - onoe of the three powers that comprises the "Power of Three"; the ability to move objects with the power of thought by either looking at them or gestruing at them with the hands: this power also develops into Astral Projection of the physical kind



Telekinetic - a person capable of producing or using telekinesis [See Psychokinetic]



Telempath - a person who can communicate their emotions through psionic means to other people, manipulate the emotions of others through psionic means, and communicate with animals mind to mind



Telempathy - the ability to communicate by way of emotions rather than thought as in telepathy (below); communication with animals is usually telempathic in nature



Telempathic - of or pertaining to the ability of telempathy



Telepath - a person capable of speaking to another's mind through the use of psychic power; telepaths can use this gifts to read minds, control minds, or communicate thoughts or ideas without spoken words



Telepathic - dealing or concerned with the capacity for telepathy



Telepathic Hypnosis - the ability to control and manipulate others telepathically

- Command Voice - a form of telepathic hypnosis where psi is superimposed upon verbal commands, speech

- Ocular Hypnosis - a variant of telepathic hypnosis where psi commands are generated along the optic nerves and through the eyes



Telepathist - a believer in and/or possessor of telepathic power



Telepathize - to affect telepathically



Telepathy - a psionic discipline that deals with psionic abilities that allow mental contact and control of other sentient creatures; a psion whose primary discipline is Telepathy is called a Telepath



Telepathy - the ability to read, control, or influence the minds of others by the exercise of psychic dominance and to driect one's thoughts so that another mind, like or un-like, can hear the thoughts of the one projecting them

- Catalyst Telepathy - the ability to awaken latent and/or dormant psychic abilities in others

- Forced Rapport - the ability to force telepathic contact on those who either don't want it or can't handle it

- Lethal Forced Rapport - an even more rare variant of telepathy and forced rapport is the ability to kill with a single thought

- Oneiromancy - the [telepathic] ability to enter into another person's dreams and alter their content

- Xenotelepathy - the ability to understand foreign thoughts, alien symbology; not to be confused with xenoglossy (see below)



Teleportation - the act or process of moving an object or person by psychokinetic means



Tele-vectoring - communication of position and astro-navigational data



Time Search - the practice of astrally projecting one's consciousness to a level, or dimensional plane, where past time can take on an objective reality to such a traveler



Time Shift - the ability to control the flow of time; the ability to travel (shift) through time



Time Stasis - the ability to stop all motion on the molecular, atomic, and sub-atomic levels without any loss of heat; hence, a complete and total stasis of time



Transmutation - a school of magick that deals with spells designed to trnasform the recipient physically or change its properties in a more subtle way; a Transmutation specialist is called a Transmuter



Vampire - a demon who possesses various abilities in magick or psionics, is immortal, and drinks the blood of his victims to stay alive; vampires can be killed only be beheading them, driving a stake through their heart, by the rays of the sun, or by burning them



Walker - a person with the ability of astral projection who is known for being able to journey into the various astral and spiritual relams of existence at will as though it is second nature to him; walkers normally possess other psionic abilities as well so that they may do battle in the astral and spiritual realms if necessary



Warlock (evil) - an evil mage or magician from the underworld, usually sent by the Source himself, to try to steal the powers of good witches and deliver their souls to their master after the have been killed



Whitelighter - a guardian assigned to watch and oversee the development of a witch or warlock; Whitelighters possess the ability to orb and to heal their charges. Whitelighters can have many different charges and are not confined to one charger per Whitelighter.



Witch - a person, male or female, who is skilled in the magick arts and normally possesses a main magickal power; Normally male witches are called warlocks, but most warlocks I have seen are evil. Most male witches I have seen wish to be called either Wizards, Sorcerers, or Mages.
