As you "leave" your body try to go to the time and place of the crucifixtion. Use your imagination to feel, hear, taste, smell the surroundings and the people, animals that may be present. As you begin to settle in the enviroment focus your attention on Christ as He carries the Cross to the summot on the hill. Picture His eyes and the Way the burden is dealt with. See Him being pounded to the Cross and the blood as it flows like Holy Water. I suggest a reading of the Gospels for some of the dialog as well. Use your imagination and your hearts as you try to "understand" why so many choose to place this as the most important Act that has ever occurred in the History of the Universe.

If you feel any success with this technique I urge you to place your mind now at the Victory and Resurrection of Christ as He conquers death itself. Pay attention to the details of His physical body and keep your hearts open to what you may find.

Once again if you dont want to take this challenge that is fine. I am sure many here far surpass my abilities to project and I am curious as to the end result of placing your faith in an experience such as this.

Do you feel, Love, Hope, Peace?

I experimented with something similar to this several days ago. Well, really nothing like you described, but here's my experience anyway:

I was in the state ready for projection -playing around with my awareness arms and astral sight- and I had thoughts of Jesus Christ floating around in my head (due to recent discussions here), so out of curiosity I locked my attention on his name and images of him, and kept repeating to myself "I invoke the energy of Jesus Christ"...

I wasn't really expecting anything to happen, but after virtually no time my surroundings (bedroom) became all distorted, and I started feeling an energy flow into me (fairly neutral, and somewhat peculiar and uncomfortable). And now for the strange part: My arms shot out to my sides, and locked in place. I couldn't move them. (at this point I was lying horizontally, facing up). I then became aware that I was suspended in mid air in some empty, misty grey sky, and my body (stiff as a board, with arms still locked in position) began to slowly rotate, bringing me to a forward facing position. This is where I ended the experience, retreating back to my cosy bed.

It was certainly not blissful, nor was it the opposite. It was just weird, and I was fairly detached throughout the whole thing. I honestly doubt that I actually tapped into the energy of Jesus Christ, for I'd expect that doing so would bring about more profound emotions. There is of course the symbolic relevance of my body position (Christ's crucifixion), but I'm guessing something or someone is just messing with me.

Oh, and I'm not a Christian. I'm one of those open-minded people who aspire truth through personal experience. What are we again? Ah, that's right... foolish devil worshippers[]

I consider this question of yours to be most hypocritical, as you have very clearly made your opinions on astral travel known.

I will not have you posting topics such as this to bait people into conversations where you will end up preaching your dogmas to them, as you have proven on a number of occasions that you are not at all interested in what other people have to say.

I see no reason for this topic to be blocked. I'm very confused about what's going on here. Would someone like to explain? The original post had nothing harmful or malicious about it. What I see here is a prejudice towards Christians. It seems as though if someone so much as mentions anything about the religion, everyone points their fingers at them telling them that they're trying to convert everyone or preach. I put forth this challenge to you: Would the same go for a Buddhist? Or a Muslim? Or a Jew? I myself have no religion and I don't plan on getting one. I know the truth for myself and I choose to keep it to myself. You are all weak-minded individuals, and so am I. We are all very weak-minded, or we wouldn't let things like this get under our skin. Maybe its time people emptied their minds and started over. No more hostility, no more telling other people to shut up. There should be NO such thing as Internet censorship. Yes people should have SOME control over what they come in contact with, but believe me, you will have to face things you don't want to face. Do you think people like being robbed at gun-point? Nobody has control over whether it happens to them or not. It's all about the time and the place. The question is, can you handle it? I put forth the challenge to everyone on this site: Can you handle what you read? Can YOU maintain YOUR OWN balance? It is not our environment we need to control... It is ourselves
