The Christ within

Hi,

The closest I get to "thinking I am Jesus" or "trying to be Jesus" is that I believe (because Jesus himself said this in the Bible) that we are all "capable" of doing everything he did through "faith". I try my best to base my thoughs and actions in love as Jesus did. I do not claim that I have thus far been successful at doing everything he did or that I ever will be. I certainly have not manifested anywhere near the amount of faith or love that he did, but I do my best to get a little closer each day God grants me the blessing of living on this earth.

We must be very careful here.

To have a merging with the Spirit of Christ is a wonderful thing if it enforces His Love, His Divinity, and our sin. Remember, that experience was not a reward for your righteousness, but a gift that was made possible thru your admittance of guilt and faith in Christ. He was not just sharing His pain with you, but also showing that His pain was BECAUSE of you. We are all looking for the same thing in the end. What's it like to be God. That is the gift Ben. God lets us know what it is like. But, only thru admitting we ARE NOT God. I know you understand this. We must make sure though that others know this as well, lest they come charging in here saying you have some kind of Messianic complex or somthing

So basicly NP, you are saying that this whole thread was just an attempt to bait and insult people and you were not remotely interested in our honest responses? Next time you just want to insult me, please do not veil that hostile intent with the name of a topic that deceptively makes it sound like you are actually interested in sincere answers to what you have asked us.

You may consider me a "heretic", but that does not make it ok for you to deliberately waste my time. Deliberately disrespecting someone and intentionally wasting their time is just plain mean spirited. There is no absolutely love of Christ or anybody else in that action. Jesus would be ashamed of you.

No.. I think your in need of a good long talk with Jesus because apparently you didn't understand anything he was trying to say.

I have great disrespect for your actions on this message board and I take offence with how badly you treat your fellow man. You completely ignore what people say to you and ramble on about something else whenever anyone makes a good point. Basically you are talking to yourself and might as well do that in your own head and leave us out of it.

Hell no. That's ridiculous. But if I ever did realize I was Jesus, it's pretty safe to assume that instead of posting this I would have shot myself for what the world did to my teaching.

Once when my mom was 21 though and on a manic swing she met a guy and thought he was Jesus.

I am not going to post anymore dogma. It does no good and gives a lot of people here hiker's diarhea.

Has anyone here ever projected and thought to themselves that...

I AM JESUS!!! I REALLY AM HIM!!!

Has anyone ever had this experience? Like it is the secret that no one ever wants to share.
