I would at least have a physical and tell the docter what happened.I think at my last one they did do some kind of heart test. You could probably do aerobic exercise. If you just walk a little you will not get your heart rate up where it will do any good.Maybe the dream about going to the med center was a message.Could be energetic related too- for a few months before I started trying to project I had my heart thumping sometimes when I laid down at night. It turned out to be the same sensations I got when I tried to project and they went away.

May virtuous qualities, merit, and prosperity greatly increase
And may continuous good fortune and subline well-being perfectly arise.

Definitly get a doctor's opinion on it especially if you think it is heart related.
Maybe it is your heart chakra, it could be blocked.

I hope you feel better soon!

Hi Tisha

I would certainly see a doctor even if it hasnt happened since. There are a few causes of chest pian and none of them is much good! The fact that it happened when you were rested is a perhaps real plus because Angina and MI (the worst things) would be more likely to rear there head at a time when you were active (increased blood presure).

I recently found out I have a heart condition and Im fit and 18, so it can happen to anyone. I dont mean to scare you I just want to make sure you do see a doctor.

best regards

David

See a doctor!!!!

they can see if your heart indeed did have an attack. Through various means - ekg, stress test on the treadmill, etc.

DH had/has occasional chest pains (since early thirties), and is fit. They were able to address the possibility of heart attack. it looks like he has some sort of arrhythmia. Also, a brother had chest pains, went to see the doctor. They kept him overnight for tests, and finally diagnosed some sort of reflux or something. Without testing, you just don't know.

Good luck with this - It is hopefully nothing-

Hi Tisha
I sounds to me like one of two possibilities spackle dust from sanding spackle ( gypsum can irratate the lining of the lung when pulverized ) and extended upper arm movement as using a paint roller over head can cramp the latterals and pectorals , sore mussels can give chest pains . I know I've done this work for 30 years...........

THAT'S IT!  I'd been painting the ceiling that evening!  Ouch!  It all makes sense now.  So, if the connection between ceiling painting and chest pain continues I won't worry.   If it happens without such a connection, I'll see a doctor.

In the mean time folks, if you ever need to paint your ceilings, pay or bribe someone else to do it, offer them money, beer, sex, anything, because it is not a fun job.  I'll be SO glad when I'm done!

I fly home tomorrow, and will pick up my paint roller once again.

Thanks everyone!

Hi - - sorry I've been away, I've been spackling and painting my walls.

I woke up yesterday morning with chest pains.  My breathing was labored and difficult and I was a bit frightened by it.  I tried to sleep it off, but only ended up dreaming about walking to the Medical center at work.  The rest of the day, I felt ok, but my chest felt a little sore.

It wasn't an asthma attack - - I know what THOSE  feel like.   There was no wheezing at all.   It almost felt like a heart attack -ak-ak -ak   . . . but I've never had one, so what do I know?  I'm only 36, and not overweight or anything.  Cholesterol a bit high, don't exercise much . . . but I'm not terribly out of shape.

My co-worker said I probably had an anxiety attack.  But I'm the most laid back person in the world!  And I was asleep!  She said maybe I had a dream that freaked me out.  I don't remember any dreams or otherworldly experiences.

Does anyone else have experiences like this?   I'd see a doctor, but what could she do besides speculate . . . perhaps give me a stress test?

I'm off on a week long business trip, I hope I sleep peacefully and well out there!
