First, what's your opinion on why they are only during these hours?
.

Hmm dont know about the palpitations. However Kundalini itself seems to cool off somewhat if you get busy and "goes to work on you when you relax" wich should account for it flowing much stronger at night. However Sensitivity seems to a common factor among most "Kundalinis"(lol sounds girlish[:D]) . So perhaps its something in your routine (like drinking coffee or something),that you not normally would react to but do when its "flowing" more.

Why only in the winter time does this happen to me?

Hmm Cant say for sure ,but seems that Kundalini is influenced by the melatonin hormon produced normally in the brain(i read a teory on it somewhere. )and also regulates sleep.  i got very sick after a melatonin treatment for my sleeping pattern(kundalini sick but i didnt know it then) . Also my strongest experiences seem to be in the winter also(so far).

Do you have any thots on what this knot might be?

The knot is probably you not relaxing and causing a subconcius strain wich halts the kundalini temporarly ,the stronger the kundalini flows the more painfull thise knots is gonna be . If you dont want kundalini experience then its realy hard to advise as loosing the knot will make it flow harder longer up the spine and well give you more. if you want it well then just relax good when you feel it forming (slow deep breathing) and let kundalini do its thing (lol whatever that may be) , And it should loosen (perhaps not instantly ).

And finally, how do i get this to move along so i am no longer having palps.
?

Hard to say without knowing the true source for the palps . If kundalini is causing it , perhaps it gets better if you get the knot opend. I suggested looking for something in your routine above(coffe and smoking are very often the source).

Also it may be its not real palps (ok make real sure it is . When i was sick it felt my hearth was racing outa control and couldnt even stand , yet when someone took my pulse it was what you expect in a sleeping person!). And finnally do you stress much as in life? From the times you given it could seem it starts about when work starts(or an hour after) and stops when its resting time in the evening.

If it aint something you intake and you havent been prone to get palps before (at less regular intervals) then it realy cant harm to see the doc (you dont even have to mention kundalini , hes just looking for physical causes and their good at finding them to .At other things they suree suck[;)]) .

Well hope it helps the slightest.

well i can't really answer your questions and the only thing i could contribute is a suggestion to possibly do some work with your heart chakra (bring in some energy to strengthen it, and then release the energy that was already there).

good luck with what you do [:)].

ok First things first, why do you believe that this problem is "kundalini" related.

Kundalini is  really a false practice that was introduced unknowingly to the western aspirant.  Most writers on the subject lack the necessary psychic faculties to disearn the differences amongst spiritual practises.  They simply copy anothers idea believing it to be true.

After looking at the affected areas the exercise suggested above by kakkarot may assit with this problem. A note of caution though, energy work must be done carefully and gently or else you may end up doing more harm than good.

While its true that there are practices thats goal are to arouse kundalini , i know nothing about their validity and do not intend to find out . Kundalini isnt realy a practice in itself .It is a phenomen ussually triggered by other practices either they are mystic(magic ,chanting etc) ,meditative(energy work , yoga etc) , near death experiences(or so ive read) even trough drugs (melatonin atleast CAN have this effect. ).

But im guessing the creator of the tread havent done any of the "kundalini practices" ,then he most likely would have some guru/master to turn to ,for good or worse.

Most likely he had it triggered by accident (unknowingly) and want to know how to get the most bothersome symptoms under control to lead hes life "normally".(hmm lol dang doing so much guessing either is gonna make my intuition stronger or Hardsignal laugh real hard[:D]).

Ok the reason for this post , was to caution hardsignal to meditativ/energywork while the kundalini is arousing . It can be  kinda , like tossing petrol on flames. It can make the Kundalini stronger and cause more symptoms (either of the same IF it is kundalini related or others where my guess is more pressure on knot on hes spine).

Anyway I cant say ,it couldnt work . As i know little about Kundalini myself (cept from experience) , and bluelite is right in that much of what you find on the web about the subject is bovine excrement advise. But then again to make things better one gotta take the risk. I only experiment with kundalini when i got lots of free time (so i can afford being knocked outa commision for a week or so .) and only if the kundalini isnt moving much also.

I had a spontaneous kundalini opening in October, 2003. It blasted for about two weeks before getting it under control. Previous to this I always read about chakras and kundalini, but never put much in store of it. Well, I got educated quick and did a lot of reading.

Here's what worked for me. Visualizing each chakra and coming to know the energies and colors flowing from them while learning to close the lens of each chakra and monitor the flow of energy. This has to be very gentle as the Kundalini can get out of control quickly. Like you it was more intense in the evening hours, but rarely affected my sleep. You know its a problem when you get up in the morning and the kundalini is there - in my case - throbbing away. After I learned about chakras and energies, I discovered grounding cords. Well, I didn't believe at first, but it worked like magic when I grounded the excess kundalini down through the cord and it returned to me clean, healed and way less intense.

The knot that you're feeling around your heart sounds like an energy blockage and because of that the kundalini energy may be building up there. I too had heart palpitations and when they become regular it makes you sit up and take notice. I've been wondering about the winter aspect myself. Is it because nature/everything is in its dormant stage? Does it happen then because we move around less, we're less physical? Even though I never believed in any of this before now, I know that educating myself has been really beneficial.

hi....thanks all for the advice and suggestions....yeah i'm waaaay prone to anxiety and stress and it could be related altho i do not know anymore. i don't smoke or drink coffee so those are out. i've also been to the doctor many times in the past few years, most recently about 3 months ago. I had every blood test known from cholesterol to thyroid to diabetes, i had chest x-rays, i had ecg's. Everything showed normal.

I believe that the solution really lies in the problem i have of not being able to properly visualize my heart chakra. I can EASILY open my sixth (i just have to think about it and it starts to open) and i can relatively easily open my 3rd by visualizing it sort of as a laser beam which even cuts through walls. And my 7th opens with chanting mantra in meditation (feels really tingly on the top of my head). But my heart chakra, though i have had it open (i know when it has been open because i bawl like a baby and i love every stranger i see), lately, i simply can't see it. I just can't visualize it. So i know there is a problem there of some sort, but i don't know what it is at all[:)].

And DAMN, if i don't forget to ground all the time. I grounded last night for the first time in months and lo and behold my palps have almost completely stopped today (i've had one all day as opposed to 50 or 60). So i guess between grounding and working the energy problem i am having with my heart chakra, that is probably all there will be to it. Plus winter is coming to an end soon. That usually ends it all anyways.

Any ideas on why i can't visualize my heart chakra? Or for that matter, why i've never been able to vizualise my second chakra either?

btw, glad i found this forum. You guys (and girls) rock! [:)]

Perhaps read mrKangs post on kundalini he got answers from mr bruce , and it exlained alot of kundalini. Though i dont know if it would be very helpfull for your problems . Perhaps asking questions in my post to Robert Bruce would get you some better answers. Hopefully he will answer some of thise days =P

This subject has maybe been done to death so forgive a noob if so.

I am a male, 36 years old. My kundalini has been flowing since October. I know this because i've had episodes with Kundalini before (on and off for years, and only in the winter it seems).

Anywho, lately when i wake in the night, the flow is very powerful at around 2am, i am getting a cold sensation (tho it could be heat, can't really tell all the time), much like electricity flowing through my spine and arms mainly, however there seems to be what can only be described as a "knot" of the energy/sensation trapped in my spine directly behind my heart area.

When i wake in the morning the kundalini is flowing, a little less intense but still there, and then finally "seems" to disappear as i begin my daily activities.

However...

Starting at around 10 am every morning, i begin having heart palpitations. They are fairly steady (about 10 per hour or so), until around 5 or 6 pm
when they more or less stop (i may get one or 2 during the evening and/or when the Kundalini is at it's most intense at 2am i might have one).

Just wondering a couple things....

First, what's your opinion on why they are only during these hours? Why only in the winter time does this happen to me? Do you have any thots on what this knot might be? And finally, how do i get this to move along so i am no longer having palps. I would prefer a sore throat i think. ;)

Any light you could shed would be wonderful.
