Hello all,

As a new member and this being my first post I suppose I ought to introduce myself. I found about this site sometime early last year and since then it has been fantastic. Robert Bruces books are some of the best I have ever read (of course that is until I publish my own book!). It has been great watching how the site has grown so today I finally decided to join and see what its like.

I've studied projection for awhile now. I like to use projection to meet with deities, archangels, speak with my HGA and my Guardian spirits. I also like to time travel when I have the energy and concentration to do it. I mainly use projection for divination as this is my specialisation really and I started seriously through the fact that I was born psychic. Religion wise I am Wiccan (to be - not yet initiated!) and also follow the Golden Dawn tradition which has some very interesting astral techniques to do with the Tree of Life.

Anyway... the reason for my post is because throughout the whole time I have been projecting I always project and see myself from a camera angle which is positioned wherever I want to put it. Depending on the amount of energy I have will depend on how close I can get to the image. So, basically I see myself on a screen which is there when I close my eyes and I am totally aware of my surroundings here aswell as on the astral plane.

The above is so out of the ordinary that I did think for a time I wasn't projecting. However, I actually feel my spirit leave via my crown chakra and at that exact moment my head flops and relaxes at the neck. Its involuntary. I can move my body on the physical plane and still be in control on the astral plane simultaneously afterwards.

So my question is, how and why is it that no matter how long I've been doing this for and how many hundreds of times that I've projected why is it that I can never see myself as if I am actually there?

Some people also speak about blackouts right at the point of projection and waking up in some strange place on the astral plane. I'm not like this at all, I have complete control over all that I do. Is that normal?

Any advice would be appreciated.

LVX and blessings,

Kyra
