Spinning direction of Energy Centres

Hi Mystic,
From your own perspective they would spin counter-clockwise... if you were reading someone else's as you faced them, the fully flowing chakra spins clock-wise.

They will also change through the day, depending on what you are doing, thinking, dreaming etc.  But you can generalise about them as the changes usually aren't massive, just little fluctuations in the flow.

Dowsing them with a pendulum will show the flow, how open it is, and will indicate things you are working on, even if you are not aware of them.

"Hands of Light", by Barbara Ann Brennan is an excellent practical workbook for energy and chakra.  It is a detailed study of the energy system and how to heal it etc.  I am sure it is still in print.

Hi Mystic,

I'll second Tayesin's post as it fits my experience as well!

Cheers,

How do you do that?
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

You need a friend to hold the pendulum over you and allow it to move.  If you are very still you will see the chakra 'tug' on the pendulum as you approach it.  Once the pendulum is around 4 to 6 inches (100 to 150 centimetres) above the chakra, let the pendulum do it's thing, and watch the direction, size and any deviatons from a perfect circle.  It's a good idea to write it down as you do them.

Some deviations from circular are :  not moving or just a small side to side or up and down swing (closed chakra), oval swings, variously angled ovals etc.  Each represents what is being flowed through that chakra in terms of your feelings, fears, the will, and the spiritual, indicating what you are working on at those levels.

The book I mentioned in the first post, " Hands of Light" is a source material book, it has practical work too, so that the learning is quicker.

So this is discussed in Hands of Light?

From what should the pendulum be made? Or does it matter?

Good thread!!![^]

Excellent advice Tayesin.
I learned about Dowsing the chakras a little while back. I mapped out my major chakras as to how they are when they're working properly. Its the best way to quickly find a problem.

Thing I've found is that so many "authorities" give different advice on how the chakras should be spinning, whereas I tend to feel that there is no one particular way. I've seen results from a few people dowsing healthy chakras, and there have been some clear differences. I know my chakras alternate in direction from one to the next, kind of like a row of meshing gears.

Fallenangel,
the material of the pendulum is not terribly important, but I have found a couple of things -
1) cleansing is essential. you need to know that the device is not carrying any residual energies.
2) I found for my own use, a personal crystal, something in tune with me, was particularly effective.

I found something like this.
http://metaphysics.7gen.com/chakras.html

Mainly the picture in the bottom seemed very interesting.

In Swami Satyananda Saraswati's Kundalini tantra book
he says that the chakras are located in the spine.
The front side was called something else can't remember
what anymore.

I started thinking now when I looked at that picture that
maybe the energy centres 'spin' to the different directions
at the same time. (Forward shooting beam in one direction, backward
in another, Beam going upwards in one and the downwards in another)

If this were the case you would usually access the part
you need to get something done.
If we compare us to infinitely small,
that will make us infinitely big,
but if we compare
ourselves to infinitely
big, it will make us infinitely small.
What is our size again?

I have this simplistic notion that:

Chakras spinning clockwise - Chakras act like black-holes and suck in energy from the environment and whatever sources are within that environment. They alternatively charge themselves up from the spinning action alone.

Chakras spinning counter-clockwise - Chakras emit energy outwards. If a person spinned their major chakras counter-clockwise all-day-long, this would imply they would be very drained, hungry, and probably have fainted a while back.

Does the above have truth to it? If it's incorrect, I'd rather dump it. [:D] It's just a simple explanation that has stuck with me. Spins one way and its pulling energy. Spin the other direction, and its pushing.

James S

No that doesn't work with me.
If my chakras are spinning right, they work - energy flows through the properly. If they're spinning wrong, they block up - no energy flow.

Anyone know the appropriate spinning 'direction' for the energy centres?

I found out that it seemed that my chakras up to heart centre
spinned counter-clockwise, then from throat upward they
spinned clockwise. Though now I am testing with putting
everything spinning to a clockwise direction.

Since I haven't found any reliable reference to this
from anywhere I'll just test through this. Though
any personal experience would be appreciated.
