Yes, its normal. Unfortunately, fear is a barrier to your progress. To overcome it just takes time. Another thing to consider is this : emotions are multiplied and often manifest in the astral....creating a viscious circle. You get scared whilst projecting, then a scary thing happens....so you get EVEN MORE scared...and so on !

Just remember that you won't come to any harm, and confront the fear head on. Have a positive outlook and be rational - trust that you won't come to any harm !!

This varies enormously. You may see an exact replica of your body. You may see yourself glowing. Or you may not be able to see your body, even though you are "aware" that there should be something there.

I have always started off my OBE's as being alone, then people tend to pop up out of nowhere just as iam thinking 'where are all the people??' On my first and most memorable experience, I was slightly apprehensive and as soon as i started feeling lonely I met a friend who kept me company for the rest of my duration in the astral!

The trick is to stay positive and have fun!

wow, amazing. When you saw that friend, how did you communicate? Telethapy? or did you communicate at all?

At first nothing was said, it was just an exchange of hugs and warm feelings.  He spoke when spoken to (verbally), but other than that he was more of a silent companion really, i felt as if he was just there so i didn't feel lonely.

Did you project this person in your mind? You just thought of him and appeared?

So, in the case could you think of a good looking women and she can appear?

I wouldn't doubt that for a second. My girlfriend, who's been in the astral many a time, tells me she can create just about anything she wanted with her mind.

These things you create with your mind, though, are just figments of your imagination. Don't get too wrapped up in them when you actually do project, or your OBE will turn into a dream.

As for your comment about astral women, i'll just say that sex can be a massive distraction in the astral. A few of my first experiences were wasted following primal urges. Now i try my utmost to suppress them and focus on things less 'physical'[]

Well there must be a reason why would have a sexual feeling in the astral? Maybe it's trying to tell you something?

There are many differing opinions on this.
Some people believe its a way for a neg to drain you of your energy. I personally believe its just a natural physical urge that manifests itself because you're somewhat aware that you are in an environment where anything goes. But like attracts like in the astral, and for that reason, i leave it alone.

Perhaps someone with more experience can shed some more light on this for you?
